<p>One man recently posted abnormal readings coming from his wife’s Fitbit watch, and he ended up getting something he hadn’t expected: a baby.<br />
“My wife’s Fitbit is showing her heartbeat being consistently high over the last few days,” David Trinidad posted on Reddit.<br />
Another Reddit user suggested that the readings from the device that monitors heart rate, calories burned and other fitness markers might not be a mistake.<br />
“Has she experienced anything really stressful in the last few days or is it a possibility she is pregnant?” a user going by the screen name “Thatwasunpleasant” asked.<br />
Turns out, the wife was knocked up.<br />
“Thatwasunpleasant” says she was able to identify the solution because she’s pregnant herself and has noticed her own Fitbit showing elevated readings for her resting heart rate.<br />
This is not the first time a Fitbit has provided a creepy look into someone’s personal life.<br />
In January, Koby Soto got dumped. Later in the day, as he examined the readings from his Fitbit, he noticed he was able to pinpoint the exact moment of the breakup, as his heart rate became elevated thereafter.</p>
