<p>Uruguayan striker, Edinson Cavani ,a late substitute gave Paris St-Germain the advantage after the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Chelsea, in Paris tonight.<br />
The hosts went ahead through Zlatan Ibrahimovic&#8217;s deflected free-kick, but John Mikel Obi scored a precious away goal, volleying home a deserved equalizer from six yards.<br />
Chelsea&#8217;s stout defending had them on course for a draw, before Cavani&#8217;s goal from an Angel di Maria&#8217;s pass. With the second leg coming up at Stamford Bridge on 9 March, the Blues are still very much in contention thanks to Mikel&#8217;s goal and the heroics of Thibaut Courtois who saved late save from Ibrahimovic.</p>

<p>This is the third successive season these teams have been drawn against each other. Both previous ties were decided on away goals. A strong Chelsea side progressed in 2014 despite losing the first leg 3-1 in Parc des Princes.</p>
