<p>But in a sea of glittering couture, stunning sequins and futuristic metallic designs to fit with this year&#8217;s Met Gala theme &#8211; Manus x Machina-theme: Fashion in an Age of Technology – there was also a very long list of fashion fails.<br />
Topping that list included a bum-flashing Madonna, a frill-wearing Solange, and Lady Gaga who appeared to forget her trousers.<br />
Irina Shayk, who usually commands attention in her red carpet looks, also failed to wow in a floaty pale blue frock as she walked the famous museum steps.</p>

<p>Never one to shy away from flashing the flesh, Nicki Minaj also made the worst dressed list this year as she decided to flash a little too much in a daring cut-out design.<br />
While Oscar winner Alicia Vikander&#8217;s outfit missed the style mark with its clashing colours and textures.<br />
According to Beyonce fans, she almost made the worst dressed list because her couture Givenchy latex gown looked a lot like a, uh, &#8220;condom&#8221;.<br />
