<p>A mother who allegedly went to party and left her 2-year-old daughter home alone during a fire that claimed the child&#8217;s life was previously being investigated by Administration for Children&#8217;s Services.<br />
Police said 20-year-old Leila Aquino was arrested Tuesday on charges of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the death of 2-year-old Kaleenah Muldrow.<br />
According to the police Aquino whose Instagram account is under the name “LilyBadAss,” with the tag line, “I sin, but I’m no (devil). I’m good, but I’m no (angel).” left her her toddler home alone, while she ditched work at CityScapes Strip club and went to party with her new boyfriend.</p>

<p>Little Kaleenah Muldrow was killed in a fire at their Monroe Street home.<br />
Her body wasn&#8217;t found by fire crews until two and half hours after their initial search when Aquino came home looking for her daughter, according to NYPD.<br />
ACS confirms they are looking into the circumstances leading up to the child&#8217;s death, but could not say how many times they visited the home.<br />
Joe Muldrow is the baby&#8217;s great-grandfather and owns the building at 755 Monroe St. He was home at the time of the fire and reported hearing a loud bang in the apartment above him, where his great- granddaughter lived.</p>

<p>Sadly, Muldrow said he didn&#8217;t know his great-granddaughter was home alone when the fire broke out. Aquino entered no plea at her arraignment Wednesday night.<br />

Aquino was initially slated to work Monday night, but her plans changed and she instead went out with friends, when the fire broke out and firefighters were unaware that anyone was left in the building until Aquino returned three hours later and alerted them that Muldrow was inside.<br />
They searched the buiglding and found the girl dead under a bed.<br />
Investigators say Aquino tried to blame the tragedy on a “baby-sitter” before finally confessing that she had left her daughter sitting alone in front of the television, according to sources.</p>

She claimed to have arranged for a baby sitter, but say phone records do not show any such contact and baby sitter said she had stopped sitting Kaleenah because Aquuino owed her.<br />
Her usual baby-sitter told cops that she stopped working for Aquino on Feb. 6 because the mom owed her $200, the sources said. The sitter would watch Kaleenah when Aquino worked her strip club shift until the split over money.<br />
Aquino&#8217;s lawyer asked for her to be released without bail so she could attend her daughter&#8217;s funeral, but the judge, set bail at $10,000.<br />
Aquino, has four prior arrests, police said. She was convicted of robbery and assault in 2015, according to court records.</p>
