<p>While the All-Russia Athletics Federation has urged against its suspension and says it is committed to co-operating with the athletics world in the fight against doping, WADA says not so fast.<br />
The Russian athletica governing body said it would show the International Association of Athletics Federations details of its anti-doping programme and its response to the World Anti-Doping Agency commission&#8217;s report in the coming days. However, a damning leak of the report has just surfaced.</p>

<p>Included was a report that a Russian track-and-field athlete was recently busted by anti-doping officials with a contraband device “inside her body” in an apparent attempt to carry clean urine into a drug test, according to the World Anti-Doping Agency.<br />
“When she tried to use the container it leaked onto the floor and not into the collection vessel,” WADA reported Wednesday. “The athlete threw the container into the trash which was retrieved by the (doping control officer). The athlete also tried to bribe the DCO.”<br />
A doping control officer typically accompanies an athlete from the end of a competition to a private space to collect the athletes blood and urine. They also arrive unannounced for surprise drug tests.</p>

<p>The athlete, who remanis unnamed, eventually provided a urine sample that tested positive for a banned substance, WADA added in a 23-page report providing an update on an emergency drug-testing campaign focused on Russia’s troubled Olympic teams.<br />
Russia’s entire track and field program is currently banned from this summer’s Rio Olympics while a task force investigates allegations of a state-sponsored doping program.</p>

<p>The report was made public Wednesday after it was shared with the international federation governing track and field.<br />
The report describes hundreds of instances in recent months when drug testing agencies have been unable to collect samples from Russian athletes due to missed tests, refusals by athletes, and teams withdrawing from competition.<br />
WADA also says there have been at least 50 instances of athletes testing positive for meldonium, the banned agent that triggered a two-year doping suspension for tennis star Maria Sharapova, who is appealing her ban.</p>
