police said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Deon Frasier&comma; 17&comma; and Michael Dupree-Tyler&comma; 19&comma; were denied bond in court Tuesday evening after they were arrested for robbing and killing 45-year-old Chadwick Garrett in North Charleston&period; Garrett&&num;8217&semi;s devastated family members attended the arraignment for the vicious teens and could be heard calling them &&num;8220&semi;cowards&period;&&num;8221&semi;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Garrett had agreed to help the heartless duo pull their 2016 Dodge Durango out of a ditch around 11 pm&comma; police said they received a 911 call from an unidentified woman saying her car was being used without her permission&period; The woman accurately described the SUV used to flee the scene of the murder as well as the two suspects driving it&comma; police said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Officers rushed to the woman&&num;8217&semi;s apartment where she told authorities Frasier and Dupree-Tyler were inside&period; Authorities said there was a brief standoff&comma; but both teens eventually surrendered without incident&period; Frasier kater confessed to shooting Garrett while Dupree-Tyler admitted he was on the scene of the ghastly murder&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;somberly recalled Garrett as &&num;8220&semi;one of our better employees&period;&&num;8221&semi;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8220&semi;It&&num;8217&semi;s definitely a very sad thing that happened&comma;&&num;8221&semi; Codell said&period; &&num;8220&semi;He was a hard worker&comma; pleasant to be around&comma; always had a positive attitude&period;&&num;8221&semi; He added that the firm is setting up a donation fund to help the bereavedtt family cover funeral costs&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Court records show Frasier was free on &dollar;10&comma;000 bail for possession of a stolen vehicle&period; He pleaded guilty July 19 to possession of a non-narcotic controlled substance&comma; according to court records&period; Sheriff’s records show bookings for arrests on suspicion of possession of marijuana and crack cocaine in 2014&semi; trespassing and second-degree burglary in 2015&semi; and trespassing and breach of peace in June 2016&period; Garrett worked for Trojan Labor&comma; a temporary staffing service offering skilled and unskilled labor&comma; since 2013&period; His father&comma; Moses Garrett&comma; spoke at the bond hearing with several family memberson hand for support&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;It’s so sad&semi; these young babies here&comma;
