<p>What he lacks in height, he more than makes up with charm and personality. Using the ladder meant James was able to stand eye-to-eye with radiant bride as they exchanged marriage vows – as well as seal their marriage with a kiss.<br />
Delighted James said: “I had the steps especially made. They actually made me a couple of inches taller than her.<br />
“It meant we could have a proper kiss just like any other couple on their wedding day.”<br />

<p>James had the steps made especially for the couple’s big day and was delighted to be able to stand eye-to-eye with Chloe</p>
<p>For James, an actor “It was the perfect day. It really couldn’t have been any better.<br />
“We had 80 people there for the day and then 150 more in the evening. It was amazing.”<br />
When it came to the stag do, James enjoyed all the traditional antics – with a twist.<br />
He said: “They dressed me up as Snow White which was great – I’m always the dwarf so it was a great change.”<br />
James has from a rare genetic condition called Diastrophic Dysplasia – both his parents are of average height but carried a rare gene have an older son Phil, with the same genetic trait.<br />

He said: “I always knew I wanted to get down on one knee. <p>The couple, both devoted Christians, were waiting until they were married before living together and having sex and hope to have children in the future.<br />
Chloe said: “We decided to wait until after the wedding because it would be a fresh new start for both of us and because of the belief and the faith we’ve grown up with.”<br />
The pair say that they plan on starting a family, despite there being an increased risk of having a baby with dwarfism if Chloe also carries the gene.<br />
Chloe said: “Family is the key that we can’t wait to have.<br />
“We don’t have any concerns if there’s a chance of having a baby in Jay’s position.<br />
“I’m not even prepared to take the test to see if I have the gene because I think that at the end of the day it won’t change my mind about having kids either way.<br />
“We would love it the same as any other baby that we would have.”</p>

Though they have warmed up to James, not everyone in Chloe’s family was initially as enthusiastic about her choice of partner.<br />
Mom Sarah said: “She told me she was going out with him and I wasn’t happy particularly. I was saying: ‘Chloe he is a dwarf’.<br />
“But as I got to know him I just look at him and see Jay – not anything else.”</p>
