<p>A relative of a Texas girl whose body was found Sunday following a massive search was jailed as authorities continue to investigate the girl&#8217;s disappearance and death.<br />
A body believed to be Kayla Gomez-Orozco&#8217;s was found in a well near a property in Tyler where the man lives, authorities said at a Sunday press conference. The 10-year-old Gomez went missing Tuesday from Bullard First Assembly Church, after being reported taken from the lobby.</p>

<p>Sources say investigators received a tip leading them to the home on Old Jacksonville Highway, where they found the body in a well, according to a law enforcement.<br />
Detectives said they suspected a family member, possibly Kayla’s uncle or cousin, was responsible. On Sunday her uncle, Gustavo Zavala-Garcia, 24, was booked in Smith County Jail on an immigration hold without the possibility of bond, in connection with the case.</p>

<p>Authorities declined to identify the relative by name, but said he was born in 1992.The relative volunteered to be interviewed, and remains jailed as authorities build their case. Justice for Kayla&#8217;s family will be &#8220;swift and thorough,&#8221; Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith said.</p>

<p>&#8220;There will be no stone unturned as we enter the next phase of the investigation,&#8221; Smith said during a Sunday press conference.<br />
Search crews spent days searching for the girl.<br />
Investigators checked the property following an investigative lead, Smith said.<br />
Investigators are still working on unraveling the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, as well as, any possible motives.<br />
Declared missing four days ago, Kayla was found deceased early Sunday after going missing for four days. On Sunday evening the Jack Elementary School hosted a prayer vigil for the fourth grader, where hundreds gathered to say an emotional farewell to their friend and classmate.<br />

<p>Families arrived wearing Kayla&#8217;s favorite color, pink, brought flowers, balloons and other tokens they laid in an impromptu memorial at the front of the school.<br />
An emotional father, Efrain Gomez, thanked the community for their love and support shown his family in their time of grief , he recalled that it had been 10 years since his his family were blessed with Kayla&#8217;s arrival.<br />
&#8220;Every day was a precious day with her,&#8221; he said.</p>
