<p>A Montgomery County, Indiana mother killed her two children and stabbed herself in the neck before calling 911 to confess, early Thursday, according to police.<br />
Brandi Worley, 30, admitted to a dispatcher that she had attacked her 7-year-old son Tyler and 3-year-old daughter Charlee, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.<br />
Sheriff Mark Casteel said that the 30-year-old had a “matter-of-fact” and unremorseful manner when she said “I just stabbed myself and killed my two children.”</p>

<p>The children’s father Jason Worley, who filed for divorce on Wednesday, was asleep in the basement of the home, where the children were discovered dead in a bedroom.<br />
Brandi Worley was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital for self-inflicted stab wounds to her neck. She has not yet been transported to jail.<br />
A cause of death for the children has not been released, and autopsies are scheduled for Friday.<br />
Sugar Creek Elementary, where Tyler was in first grade, said that counselors would be available for students.</p>
