Friday&period; in the most disgusting instance he was accused of ejaculating on the patient&&num;8217&semi;s face &period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;David Newman&comma; 46&comma; admitted to all five counts of sex abuse in his indictment&comma; in New York&&num;8217&semi;s Manhattan Supreme Court&period; In exchange he will serve two years behind bars&comma; just half of what prosecutors had been recommending&comma; plus an additional three years of supervision&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The prominent doctor at Mount Sinai Hospital became the target of an New York PD investigation after a 22-year-old patient accused him of knocking her out with morphine and ejaculating on her face&comma; in January&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Dr&period; David Newman &comma; an emergency physician previously regarded as a leading advocate for health care reforms&comma; had been under investigation for the incident and barred from seeing patients&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The complainant said she came to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital on Jan 11&comma; shortly before 10&colon;30 p&period;m&period; complaining of pain in her right shoulder&period; Taken to a private room the nurses gave her two pain pills and a shot for inflammation&period; Because she was still in pain&comma; a nurse administered morphine&period; and instructed to change into a gown for X-rays&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;According to the patient&comma; she removed her shirt and bra&comma; but kept her pants on&period; She was still dressed in the gown when Dr&period; Newman walked into her room following the X-ray and told her&colon; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I’m going to give you a shot of morphine”&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Although she told him the nurse had already administered the drug&comma; but she then felt a burning sensation in her arm that convinced her that Newman gave her more morphine anyway&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;She alleged that while Dr Newman was examining her back&comma; she told him she felt pain on the right side of her chest&comma; that&&num;8217&semi;s when he started fondling her breasts&period;The doctor then moved her bed away from the wall and positioned himself with his back toward the patient&period; The woman heard the sounds of someone masturbating &comma; Mount Sinai Hospital barred David Newman&comma; an Iraq War veteran&comma; from seeing patients<&sol;strong><&sol;h6>&NewLine;<p>Prior to admitting to his improper conduct in court&comma; Newman had tried to deny his crimes when confronted by cops&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8220&semi;I am embarrassed because I &lbrack;masturbated&rsqb; in the lounge&comma; and it was possible that the ejaculate may have gone from my hands to the woman&&num;8217&semi;s blanket&comma;&&num;8221&semi; he told a detective on Jan&period; 12&period;&&num;8221&semi;She may have been mistaken about me ejaculating on her face because she was on morphine&comma;&&num;8221&semi;
