<p class="mol-para-with-font">A Florida man tortured his own 81-year-old mother when she refused to change her will to benefit him, police said.<br />
The<a class="" href="http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/miami-beach/article122359294.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Miami Herald</a> reported that Jerome Klein, 59 of Miami Beach, faces charges of kidnapping and battery for allegedly physically abusing the elderly woman when she wouldn&#8217;t cut her other two sons out of her will.<br />
&#8216;She is 81 years old — he did not allow her to go to the bathroom, denied her water and food,&#8217; Detective Juan Sanchez told the Herald.<br />
&#8216;She has horrible bruises across her body and torso.&#8217;</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Klein, allegedly slapped his mother across the face and injured her hand during the vicious attack on Sunday.<br />
According to an arrest records, Klein approached his mother in her bedroom, slapped her across the face and struck her right hand, which required medical attention. The woman actually told police she thought her arm was broken.<br />
Detectives said Klein then ordered his mother to go to his cottage, which is in front of the main home where she lives, and forced her to sit in a chair.<br />
She made to sit in the chair for up to eight hours, and Jerome told his mother &#8216;he was going to kill her, himself and their dog&#8217;.<br />
When she tried to move, he grabbed her by the neck and pushed her back down. The extortion attempt, according to the mother, stemmed from his demand that she cut off his two brothers from her will, at which point she denied it.</p>

Police did not say how the mother has fared since the attack.<br />
The judge ordered Klein to be held without bond.</p>
