<p class="mol-para-with-font">A Kentucky woman who is suspected of killing her husband and two teenager daughters was shot by police after she allegedly pointed her gun at an officer. Courtney Taylor, 41, was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was shot by a deputy at her Williamsburg home on Friday night.<br />
Authorities said Larry Taylor, 51, and their daughters Jessie, 18, and 13-year-old Jolee were found dead inside the house.<br />
Whitley County sheriff Colan Harrell said his office was called after a relative went to the Taylor home to check on the family: “He must’ve observed a body and retreated,” Harrell said.</p>

<div class="mobile-gallery-icon">According to a <a class="" href="http://www.kentucky.com/news/local/crime/article126590469.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Lexington Herald-Leader</a> report, when responding officers Police arrived at the home around 10.12pm, Courtney Taylor pointed a gun at the two deputies who then shot her, Sheriff Colan Harrell said, that&#8217;s when one of the deputies shot her. She was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, her injury was considered life-threatening.</div>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Investigators said they were shot in their beds, according to <a class="" href="http://www.wkyt.com/content/news/Sheriff-3-people-dead-in-Whitley-County-410710535.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">WKYT</a>.<br />
Harrell said all signs point to Taylor, a registered nurse, being the one who killed her husband two children.<br />
The motive remains unknown.<br />
Both deputies involved in Courtney Taylor&#8217;s shooting have been placed on administrative leave, as is standard protocol.<br />
Authorities plan to charge Taylor and Kentucky State Police is taking over the investigation.<br />
Family members immediately began to change their profile pictures to Larry, Jessie and Jolee as tribute to the family on Saturday.<br />
&#8216;He was a big teddy bear,&#8217; Elizabeth Kidd commented on Facebook.<br />
&#8216;Such a loving father and husband. I just don&#8217;t understand.&#8217;</p>
