<article id="ra-body">The disgraced ex-doctor who admitted in court to sexually abusing four female patients was given a two-year prison sentence and another three years under supervised release, a judge ordered Monday.<br />
David Newman, 46, pleaded guilty in December to five sex abuse counts for inappropriately touching these women between August 2015 and January 2016.<br />
The arrest warrant stated that the former Manhattan based doctor sexually abusing four<img class=" size-full wp-image-130124 alignright" src="https://konniemoments.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/ex-mount-sinai-doctor-david-newman4.jpg" alt="Ex-Mount Sinai doctor, David Newman4.jpg" width="427" height="558" /></p>
<p>female patients, drugging and ejaculating onto the face of one, and fondled the breasts of his other victims in a medically inappropriate manner.<br />
Newman was subsequently fired by Mount Sinai Hospital after he was charged with knocking out a 29-year-old patient with an anesthetic so he could masturbate onto her face during her emergency room visit for shoulder pain on Jan. 11, 2015.<br />
After the first case was brought by the 29-year-old victim, at least three other women stepped forward, accusing Newman of having sexually abused them. The other victims ages 18, 19 and 21 all received unnecessary &#8220;breast exams&#8221; from the Emergency Room physician.<br />
Newman allegedly, dosed the first victim with Propofol, even though she didn’t need it,and then masturbated on her, prosecutors said.<br />
&#8220;I remember thinking I was going to die if I didn&#8217;t get out of there,&#8221; this victim said at Newman&#8217;s sentencing, continuously wiping tears from her eyes.<br />
&#8220;I did know that the drug was extremely strong and that I had been violated by a doctor [ Dr. David Newman].&#8221;<br />
The assault by Newman she said, made her feel &#8220;worthless&#8221;. She felt that her assailant has &#8220;shown absolutely no sincere remorse or accountability&#8221; for his actions.<br />
Newman initially claimed innocence to abusing any of the four.<br />
&#8220;I am embarrassed because I (masturbated) in the lounge, and it was possible that the ejaculate may have gone from my hands to the woman&#8217;s blanket,&#8221; Newman said during a police interview in January 2016.</p>

Newman changed his tune after his guilty plea, however, telling the court Monday &#8220;What I did was awful and disgusting.&#8221;<br />
&#8220;I&#8217;m sorry — sorry to everybody involved,&#8221; said Newman, who was dressed casually in a green track jacket, blue jeans and grey Converse sneakers.<br />
&#8220;I want her to know she did not contribute to this,&#8221; said Newman, who was led away in handcuffs after being sentenced.</p>
