<p>Police in Colombia have caught a drugs cartel hitman said to be behind at least THIRTY murders aged just 17. The suspect is known only by his nickname &#8216;Frijolito&#8217; or &#8216;Little Bean&#8217; and carried out his first contract killing aged 12.<br />
An elite squad of cops have been trying to track him for four months in Cali, a city famous for its links to drug-trafficking.<br />
Proudly announcing his capture, a picture of &#8216;Little Bean&#8217; was posted on Twitter showing officers beside a scrawny teenager in handcuffs with his head bowed.<br />
But a large, white skull emblazoned on his baggy hoodie gave a chilling indication of the suspect&#8217;s deadly profession.<br />
His nickname &#8216;Little Bean&#8217; is believed to have been taken from a novel about Columbian hitmen. According to authorities, he is the leader of a drugs gang called &#8216;Los del Ave&#8217;.<br />
His most recent crime is said to be a double murder in a Cali shopping centre last September.</p>

<p>CCTV footage showed a young man in a black hoodie brazenly shooting a man in front of a jewellery counter.<br />
The suspect also shot dead a security guard who tried to stop him fleeing.<br />
Hugo Casas, chief of police, said that with the boy&#8217;s arrest the city of Cali is now &#8220;free from a dangerous person that can continue with these acts.<br />
<span class="caption">The teenager is said to have carried out at least 30 murders in the past five years.<br />
</span> &#8220;He has committed at least 30 murders.<br />
&#8220;We will continue to work to catch his accomplices.&#8221;<br />
The teenager is currently in a rehabilitation centre for minors but will be transferred to an adult prison when he&#8217;s 18.</p>
