<article id="ra-body">The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office announced that a pair of 19-year-old men have been arrested in the courts of investigating the death of a 19-year-old New Jersey woman who went missing from her home in early December, 2016.<br />
Liam McAtasney, 19, and Preston Taylor, 19, both of Neptune City,have been charged in connection with the murder of after a two-month investigation had revealed 19-year-old Sarah Stern had been killed during a robbery at her home on Dec. 2.<br />
The arrest warrant states that Liam McAtasney strangled Stern and Taylor allegedly helped him get rid of her body by throwing her over the Route 25 Bridge in Belmar, New Jersey, prosecutors said.<br />
McAtasney was charged with first-degree felony murder, first-degree robbery, among other charges. Taylor was charged with second-degree desecration of human remains, second-degree conspiracy, and other charges.</p>

<p>The Belmar Water Rescue Team, the U.S. Coast Guard and other law enforcement stepped in to search Shark River for evidence of Stern’s body, which has not been found.</p>

<p>Relationships between the victim and suspects were not immediately clear.<br />
Her father Michael Stern told <a href="http://www.nj.com/monmouth/index.ssf/2016/12/neptune_teen_still_missing_after_4_week_search.html">NJ.com</a>, the holidays were difficult since his daughter’s disappearance: &#8220;It&#8217;s a gut-wrenching experience that no parent should have to go through,&#8221; he said.<br />
&#8220;I love my daughter, and I just wish she would come home.&#8221;<br />
Sarah Stern who attended Neptune High School played softball and was a member of the swimming team. Michael Stern said his daughter started on the varsity softball team as a freshman. But she was also very interested in art and photography and has a keen interest in digital media, specifically YouTube videos. She studied art and TV production at Brookdale Community College for two semesters.</p>
