<article id="ra-body">Authorities arrested a 27-year-old Oregon woman for an alleged sex trafficking attempt involving a 3-year-old child. Kelsey Christine Wheeler, also known as <span class="aboutme-userlink"><span class="username-with-symbol u"><a class="u regular username" href="http://peachiepie.deviantart.com/">PeachiePie</a>, </span></span> made her first appearance in U.S. District Court in Portland on Monday, <a href="http://katu.com/news/local/portland-woman-accused-of-offering-3-year-old-child-for-sex" target="_blank">KATU News reports</a>.<br />
The FBI arrested Wheeler last week after investigating a possible sexual encounter case between her, a child and a Eugene, Ore. man.<br />
FBI spoke to the man earlier in April where he told agents he’d met with Wheeler after responding to a sex ad online.<br />
Interviewed at his Eugene home on April 13. He told agents he responded to a sex ad online and met with Wheeler in January, then reportedly went from Eugene to Portland on a Monday night, according to the court document.<br />
The punter also told FBI that Wheeler who identifies as a deviant on her <a href="http://peachiepie.deviantart.com/">online</a> profile, with the moniker PeachiePie, offered to arrange an “encounter” between him and a 3-year-old who is known to her.</p>

<p>Last Friday, the FBI and Portland police got hold of Wheeler to check on the child. Documents showed she admitted using the alias the man said she used and that she’d been a prostitute since she was 15, but denied offering a toddler for sex. On the contrary Wheeler said, it was the &#8216;John&#8217; who he offered her $6,000 for a “mother-daughter” experience.<br />
U.S. District Judge John V. Acosta waived Wheeler’s preliminary hearing on Monday and appointed federal defender Susan Wilk to the case.<br />
A grand jury is likely to have reviewed the case by May 9, and a May 11 arraignment has been scheduled, <a href="http://katu.com/news/local/portland-woman-accused-of-offering-3-year-old-child-for-sex" target="_blank">KATU News</a> concludes. The site reports that neighbors who live in the same SE Portland apartment complex as Wheeler were shocked to learn the allegations. One woman even started to cry out of sadness and horror.<br />
&#8220;That is disturbing,&#8221; an unidentified neighbor told KATU. &#8220;I personally wouldn&#8217;t put myself or my child in that situation.&#8221;<br />
Detectives found out Wheeler was investigated by Child Protective Services in Las Vegas after she was found in an apartment bedroom with another man and a child, all who were wearing minimal clothing.</p>
