<p>A Florida man on <a href="http://konniemoments.com/2017/05/19/did-60-year-old-francisca-marquine-choke-to-death-during-oral-sex-medical-examiner-says-no-not-possible-in-the-circumstances-richard-patterson-on-trial-accused-of-asphyxiating-girlfriend/">trial for murdering his girlfriend during oral sex</a> was found not guilty Monday.<br />
Richard Henry Patterson, 65, was acquitted of second-degree murder in the October 2015 death of his girlfriend, 60-year-old Francisca Marquinez, according to <a href="http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/Closing-Arguments-Underway-in-Oral-Sex-Defense-Trial-423643864.html">NBC6</a>.<br />
Patterson previously admitted his girlfriend had choked on his penis during oral sex in her bedroom.<br />
Broward County medical examiner Dr. Ronald Wright testified saying Marquinez could have died from asphyxiation.</p>

<p>Defense attorney Ken Padowitz told the jury that the woman’s death was undetermined.<br />
Before the trial, Patterson’s lawyers filed a motion to allow the jury to see his penis to prove the “rough sex” argument. The motion was denied.<br />
Peter Sapak, assistant state attorney, questioned why Patterson hadn’t called 911 after Marquinez died.</p>

<p>He also read to jurors a text message that Patterson had sent to his daughter the day after the incident.<br />
“Your dad did something really bad last night,&#8221; Sapak read, according to the TV station. “I&#8217;m so, so sorry.&#8221;<br />
Marquinez’s son, Omar Andrade, 41, earlier described Patterson as a “desperate man trying to avoid being convicted for the crime.”<br />
Marquinez was found dead in her home at Margate’s Royal Palm Garden community on Oct. 28, 2015.</p>
