The California man accused of murdering his five-year-old son to get back at his ex-wife appeared carefree in Nevada court on Tuesday for his first hearing.
The 35-year-old was arrested on Friday on charges of murder in the disappearance of his Aramazd Andressian Jr.
Arraigned in a Las Vegas Nevada court, Tuesday, Aramazd Andressian Sr. who is from Los Angeles told the judge that he wouldn’t fight his extradition back to California to face murder charges in the disappearance of his son.
The boy was reported missing two months ago, when Andressian failed to return him back to his estranged wife after an outing to Disneyland.
Prosecutors believe Andressian killed the boy in the six-and-half-hour period between when the two were seen leaving the amusement park and when Andressian was spotted alone near California’s Lake Cachuma, over 120 miles from Arroyo Park venue of the father-son excursion.

The boy’s body was never found, but police arrested Andressian on Friday, June 23, believing they developed a strong enough case to blame him for the boy’s death anyway.
They also feared he might try to flee the country, since he altered his appearance by shaving his beard and dying his hair blonde.
In court on Tuesday, Andressian said he has not been trying to evade authorities, despite spending the past 47 days in Las Vegas living out of a hotel – a four-hour drive from his home in Los Angeles.
‘If California wants me they can come and get me,’ Andressian told Justice of the Peace Eric Goodman. ‘I never came here in an intent to flee.’

Investigators have been searching for the missing boy since his father was found passed out in his car in Arroyo Park, a large park in South Pasadena, on April 22.
Police say the father had taken prescription pills and was found doused in gasoline in what they say was an attempt to take his own life.
The boy was last seen leaving Disneyland with his father around 1am on April 21.
Investigators believe Andressian killed his son a short time later and then drove about 145 miles later that morning to Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara County.
