A 23-year-old Texas woman was found with $2 million worth of crystal meth hidden in “Purple Power” jugs as she was traveling with her 4-year-old daughter, authorities say.
Seline Ayala was stopped for speeding by Austin police officers on July 12, when the cop became “suspicious” of her.
Ayala initially refused to allow officers to search the car, so officers brought in a narcotics unit dog, who indicated that drugs were in the vehicle, police said.
K-9 officer Emma helped the officers find a large quantity of liquid crystal meth hidden inside the white jugs.
The three large white jugs, labeled “Purple Power,” contained 75 pounds of liquid meth worth about $2 million, Austin police said.
The suspect told police a series of evolving stories according to the Austin Statesman. First, she said she worked for a doctor and was traveling to Dallas for a meeting, but could not provide its location or provide the name of the doctor who employed her, officers recounted in an arrest affidavit. Then she became increasingly tense and “verbally aggressive,” according to KVUE.

Ayala, a Laredo resident, would eventually tell cops that she was taking the drugs to Dallas. She was arrested and faces federal drug trafficking charges.
In a subsequent interview, the suspect admitted to a prior methamphetamine delivery in Carrollton, Texas.
She told police that she had been introduced by a mutual friend to an unidentified male in Laredo, who later contacted her and offered to have her drive methamphetamine to the Dallas-area. She s agreed to the trip and was going to be paid an undisclosed amount upon her return to Laredo, Ayala said.
Police said these statements were supported by text conversations found on her cell phone.
