that will run consecutively&period;<&sol;h6>&NewLine;<p>A Brooklyn judge swiftly sentenced an obsessed Manhattan man to 40 years to life in prison for holding a 20-year-old family grudge and killing a beloved father and family head&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8220&semi;None of us could believe our father was killed until me and my older brother claimed his body in the hospital laying there cold as ice&comma;&&num;8221&semi; said a court-appointed Mandarin interpreter who read a letter on behalf of Ying Guan Chen&&num;8217&semi;s family&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The 68-year-old victim attended a wedding in Bay Ridge on Dec&period; 7&comma; 2015&comma; where 46-year-old Wu Long Chen was also a guest&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;After the reception&comma; Wu was seen on surveillance video following the older man on Seventh Ave&period; and 61st St&period; in Sunset Park&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Ying was shot in the head&comma; chest and arm by the stalker until his gun jammed&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Wu was convicted on June 19 for shooting an elderly man to death stemming from a 20-year-old feud that started in a small village in China&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;He was still seething over being assaulted in China decades ago and took his revenge on his assailant’s father&comma; fatally shooting 68-year-old Ying on a Brooklyn street&comma;  law enforcement sources said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Wu Long Chen&comma; 46&comma; of Chinatown in Manhattan&comma; NY was arrested and charged in the Dec&period; chest and forearm&comma; but managed to burst into a Popeyes Chicken on Seventh Ave&period; and yell for help &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Somebody help me&excl; Call the police&excl; Call the police&excl;”&comma; 7&comma; 2015&comma; Wu Long Chen recognized Ying Guan Chen&comma; the father of his former neighbor in China&comma; he stalked the older Ying and shot him in revenge&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Surveillance video from the fast food joint captured a a shooter wearing a black trenchcoat and pink hat discarding the &period;22-caliber pistol he used in the heinous execution&comma; police sources said<br &sol;>&NewLine;Wu fled to Texas and was captured trying to jump the border to Mexico&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;&&num;8220&semi;The defendant harbored a grudge &&num;8230&semi; and since he couldn&&num;8217&semi;t find the victim&&num;8217&semi;s sons he sought retribution by killing the victim instead&comma;
