<p class="mol-para-with-font">A female pedophile told a court how she watched a Plymouth couple abuse a child five times over the course of a year.<br />
Testifying remotely, on camera from the FBI building in San Francisco, Kori Ellis, 42, told Plymouth Crown Court that she developed an interest in child sex abuse images in 2011 and came across Sarah Gotham and her former lover, Craig Forbes, a year later.<br />
Gotham and Forbes are currently on trial for allegedly streaming live webcam shows of them sexually abusing a drugged five-year-old girl.<br />
The couple are accused of four joint counts of sexual assault against the same youngster. Gotham alone is charged with two further counts of sexual assault.<br />
Prosecutor Heather Hope told the Plymouth Crown Court that after Ellis was arrested by FBI officers at her apartment in San Francisco in April 2015, she &#8216;admitted straight away that she had contact with other pedophiles, including couples in the UK and one couple called Sarah and Craig&#8217;.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Ellis, a cocktail waitress at a strip club at the time of the alleged streaming and had previously been a dominatrix, testified that Ellis and Sarah Gotham and her then partner Craig Forbes, got in contact through a &#8216;chat roulette&#8217; website which introduces random people who share interests and hobbies using a key word.<br />
The key word in their case was &#8216;paedo&#8217; or &#8216;paedophiles&#8217;, Ellis said.<br />
Ellis said: &#8216;We just started chatting. We talked about child pornography and we exchanged Skype info.<br />
&#8216;I was interested in getting in contact and was excited about meeting them because they were an attractive couple that were into child pornography.&#8217;<br />
She said that she started chatting with Gotham via typing on Skype and a little while later they began communicating through webchats.<br />
Ellis said Gotham told her that her name was Sarah Gotham and she Googled her and found some online photos of her at some events.<br />
Gotham was &#8216;chatty&#8217; and used the display name &#8216;Sarah Girls Only&#8217;.<br />
Ellis said when Gotham told her she sexually abused children she felt &#8216;excited&#8217;.<br />
She added: &#8216;I was interested in that. They asked me if I was interested in sexually abusing a girl on webcam. Unfortunately I said &#8216;yes&#8217;.&#8217;<br />
Ellis then went on to describe the five occasions that she saw Gotham sexually abuse the child on webcam between the end of 2012 and the end of 2013.<br />
Ellis was arrested in April 2015 following a raid on her home but confirmed her plea deal with the US Justice department to cooperate for a reduced sentence.<br />
Expressing contrition for her past Ellis said: &#8216;After I got arrested I felt bad about what I did and wanted to make sure other kids could not get hurt.&#8217;<br />
&#8216;abuse was streamed live via a webcam&#8217; to Ellis on five separate occasions and were referred to as &#8216;shows&#8217;, Hope told the court. She added that the victim was &#8216;most probably drugged at the time because she was unaware of what was happening to her.<br />
The prosecutor then warned the jury that some of the evidence is &#8216;extremely distasteful and downright revolting&#8217;.<br />
She said: &#8216;Ellis &#8211; who used the Skype name Bad Girl Next Door &#8211; was very careful she was talking to proper pedophiles.&#8217; She gave very graphic details of the type of child sex abuse she found arousing.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">The jury heard Gotham and Forbes &#8216;both had foot fetishes&#8217; and asked Ellis to paint her toenails in front of a webcam for sexual stimulation.<br />
The court was told that they asked Ellis if she would like to watch a child being abused.<br />
The prosecutor said: &#8216;There is no direct evidence who the child was. The little girl was asleep.&#8217;<br />
She said the victim did not know what, if anything, was going on. The trans-atlantic Witness also confirmed that claimed the live abuse only stopped if she stirred from her drug induced sleep.<br />
The FBI contacted Devon and Cornwall police who then investigated Gotham and Forbes who lived in Plymouth.<br />
The prosecution insisted there was &#8216;no dispute&#8217; that co-defendant Forbes was involved in the abuse of the girl. Gotham however, has denied all six counts of sexual assault on a child under 13 between December 2012 and March 2013.<br />
The trial, scheduled for eight weeks, continues on Friday.</p>
