<p>Joevan Joseph responded “I didn’t do it,” when asked about the slaying of Makeva Jenkins, an entrepreneur and mother of three killed just hours after she celebrated her financial success on Facebook.<br />
Joseph, 19, was arrested Saturday in connection with the fatal shooting of a<a href="http://konniemoments.com/2017/06/29/florida-entrepreneur-makeva-jenkins-shot-to-death-hours-after-writing-on-facebook-how-she-went-from-being-homeless-to-making-six-figures/"> Florida woman who gushed about her financial success</a> on Facebook.<br />
Suspect Joevan Joseph denied responsibility for the death of the 33-year-old entrepreneur, as he was being escorted in handcuffs from Palm Beach County jail to a police cruiser, Saturday<br />
Joseph has been charged with first-degree murder in the June 29 killing of Jenkins. A judge denied the 19-year-old bond Sunday.<br />

<p>Jenkins, who founded The Prime Enterprise Group dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners, wrote in her last Facebook post that she was in “awe of how far” she’s come in her life and career. She also boasted about how she overcame homelessness to making six figures in two years.<br />
She was killed when after a masked man knocked on the door and burst into her home in late June.</p>

<p>“No matter what the road looked like,” Jenkins wrote. “I followed my heart and stuck with it growing my business.”<br />
“Anyone can do it,” she concluded in her post. “It takes determination and consistency.”<br />
Around 2 a.m., a masked intruder entered her upscale Lake Worth home where a fight broke out between the suspect and Jenkins before being fatally shot, authorities said.</p>

<p>The suspect then fled the home in one of the family’s cars. She was taken to a hospital where she died from her wounds.<br />
Jenkins’ husband, brother and two young kids were in the home, at the time While her oldest child was with her father in Tampa at the time.<br />
Authorities have not released details about a possible motive for her death.</p>

<p>However, her family believes her social media posts showing off her success may have made her a target. The distraught family is still wondering why anyone would have killed Jenkins.<br />
“Everybody loved her,” a relative told the newspaper in June.</p>
