<p>Andrew Wilson, a Wheatfield Township man spoke to his mother before bed time on Thursday about getting a puppy, she turned down the request and told him he would have to bring the dog to his father’s home instead.<br />
A dissatisfied Andrew Wilson later told detectives that he used a rifle from a locked cabinet in the home and shot his mother in the back of the head while she was sleeping, according to investigators.<br />
19-year-old Wilson is facing charges for fatally shooting his mother, Lisa Maria Wilson while she slept after she told he couldn&#8217;t keep a puppy.<br />
He was charged with murder and felony firearm possession on Monday after he allegedly shot his 51-year-old mother, Lisa Wilson, while she slept in her bed early Friday morning.<br />
According to the <a class="" href="http://www.lansingstatejournal.com/story/news/local/2017/09/11/police-teen-shot-mother-hours-after-disagreement-over-puppy/653838001/?from=global&;sessionKey=&;autologin=" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Lansing State Journal</a> the shooter called 911 around 7 am on Friday to report that he came back home to find his mother murdered.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Ingham County Sheriff’s detective Charles Buckland said that investigators had determined that no one besides her and her son had been inside the house the night of the killing.<br />
Buckland said that the conversation between mother and son regarding the future of the stray he found recently did not go well on Thursday evening. She told him that he would have to keep the dog at his dad’s home in Dansville, Michigan.</p>

<p class="imageCaption">Police say he shot his mother in the back of her head while she was asleep after he became upset over her saying he was not allowed to keep a puppy. Although he initially called the operator to report finding his mother&#8217;s body, Wilson eventually admitted to authorities that he went into her room and shot her while she slept with a .22 Magnum rifle.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">He then drove around and got rid of the weapon, but it was recovered by police.<br />
Wilson who does not have a past record was arraigned at 55th District Court in Mason on Monday.<br />
A judge denied him bond and he is set to appear in court again on September 28.</p>
