Wane reports that the details of the plot were revealed this week when she was charged with felony attempted murder.
Rodriguez-Miranda, then 18, wrote the Jan. 12 ultimatum in a text to her boyfriend on a cellphone she and her mother shared. Her mother, discovered the heart-stopping messages on their cellphone around 3 am.
“I put the stuff in a made bottle in the fridge,” she wrote. “Yeah I thought it was funny that I don’t have an ounce of guilt.”
Later, she wrote him: “omg I forgot to tell you, the bottle is gone … I know I’m so excited dude. I’m glad it didn’t happen while I was here.”
According to court documents  Rodriguez-Miranda crushed Excedrin tablets in a mortar and pestle then poured the powdered pills into one of the bottles of breast milk the her sister-in-law stored in the refrigerator for the baby.
When the baby’s grandmother, saw the messages, she took screen shots of the text messages and proceeded to inspect  two bottles of breast milk in the refrigerator.
The tall baby bottle had a residue at the bottom of the bottle and a greenish-colored ring. The milk was also a darker color than the milk in the shorter baby bottle, court documents said.
Later in that morning of Jan. 12, she took granddaughter and daughter-in-law  to the hospital emergency room to see check for signs of poisoning, both tested negative for poisoning.
After locating the mortar and pestle which still had a white powdery substance in it, the items along with the poisoned milk were turned over to authorities, court documents said.

The substance was later identified as containing acetaminophen, caffeine and aspirin, ingredients found in Excedrin.
A forensic toxicologist found that the contaminated milk tested positive for the equivalent of nine tablets or capsules of Excedrin in 112 millilitres or 3.8 fluid ounces, enough to kill an adult, the toxicologist noted in the arrest documents.
The suspect was later caught out wondering in one of her texts why her dastardly plan failed.
“Why didn’t that baby die dude that’s dumb,” she wrote, complaining about her own stomach and back pain. “They definitely threw it out. … Yeah and I thought for a sec it could be psychosomatic where my subconscious is guilty so it creates these pains but tbh [to be honest] I hope she dies. I don’t feel bad about it bc she was destined to grow up [expletive] or be abused. I’d never be suspect I know but I hope it works.”
The would be killer’s mother instructed her to be home and speak with investigators after the incident, but she’d already fled with her boyfriend. She was believed to be in Michigan presently.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Rodriguez-Miranda, now 19. Bond is set at $50,000.
