<p>A California wife and mother of two was found guilty of her husband&#8217;s murder three years after he was fatally shot by her boyfriend.<br />
Sabrina Limon, 37, was handed the verdict Thursday after an intense three-week trial.<br />
<a href="http://www.bakersfield.com/news/jury-finds-sabrina-limon-guilty-of-first-degree-murder-and/article_e86aeea4-a918-11e7-b0db-837cb24b87e8.html">According to Bakersfield.com</a>, a jury found Limon guilty of first-degree murder, solicitation of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and accessory to murder.<br />
She was found not guilty of attempted murder and of mingling harmful substances into food or drink.Sabrina Limon, then 35 and a mother of two children, was the older woman having an affair with Jonathan Michael Hearn, 24, a firefighter and paramedic with the Redlands Fire Department.</p>

<p class="">The three-week trial attracted nationwide attention,with its lurid details of swinging couples, twisted interpretations of Christianity and poisoned pudding.</p>

<p class="">The jury, which deliberated for roughly five hours, also found Limon guilty of solicitation of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and accessory to murder. She was found not guilty of attempted murder and of mingling harmful substances into food or drink, a charge that referred to a lunchpail serving of allegedly poisoned banana pudding.</p>

<p>Three years ago, 38-year-old railway employee Robert Limon was found shot to death on Aug. 17 inside a BNSF Railway building at a Tehachapi storage yard where he worked.<br />
He had returned to the shop area sometime after 5 p.m. after working in the field that day.<br />
An investigation into the death revealed that Hearn was Limon&#8217;s boyfriend and the lovers had conspired to kill Robert so they could be together and eventually get married. The plan was to make it look like a robbery.<br />
Limon was killed just shy of his 14th wedding anniversary</p>

<p>Limon admitted to cheating on her husband, but denied having any knowledge that Hearn wanted to kill Robert.</p>

<p>However, evidence was presented during her trial that revealed she and Hearn had several discussions on how to commit the crime.<br />
Hearn also testified, saying he and Limon had tried to kill Robert several months before his death.<br />
According to the 27-year-old former firefighter, they initially wanted to poison Robert by putting arsenic in banana pudding and giving it to Robert to take to work.<br />
Hearn said he bought the poison online and gave it to Limon to put in the food.<br />
The couple, however, became worried they would get caught so Limon called her husband at work and made him throw the banana pudding away.</p>

<p>The jury also heard wiretapped phone conversations between Limon and Hearn in which the couple discussed what Limon should say to investigators about Robert&#8217;s death.<br />
In exchange for testifying, Heard avoided a life sentence and accepted a plea deal for 25 years and four months in prison.<br />
&#8220;Hearn saved his own butt,&#8221; Limon&#8217;s attorney Richard Terry told the outlet, claiming Hearn twisted what happened.<br />
&#8220;It&#8217;s hard to fathom how they found her not guilty of attempted murder but involved with the murder,&#8221; he continued.<br />
Limon faces 25 years to life in prison. Her sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 3.</p>
