<p>A disgruntled ex-employee fatally shot three people and wounded two more at a northeast Maryland office park Wednesday morning, officials said.<br />
The man intentionally targeted a granite company inside the Emmorton Business Park in Edgewood, Md., Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahlersaid at a media conference, Wednesday<br />
“We do believe that this was targeted,” he said.<br />
Sheriff Gahler said Prince began firing a handgun inside Advanced Granite Solutions shortly before 9 a.m.<br />
He quickly fled the scene in a 2008 GMC Acadia fitted with Delaware license plates, the sheriff said. Prince is considered armed and dangerous, but is believed to have acted alone.<br />
“We do not believe that anybody else was involved in this incident,” the sheriff said.<br />
Advance Granite Solutions owner Barak Caba confirmed the shooter had an association with the crime scene.<br />
Prince worked at the company as a machine operator for four months, said Caba, who was described as shaken, but declined to give further details.<br />
Police have not publicized the shooter&#8217;s motive, and are not immediately sure of Prince’s current status with the company.<br />
The suspect Radeed Labeeb Prince remained on the loose as of 11 a.m.<br />
Prince, 37, allegedly had past instances of workplace violence, according to court records.<br />
He was fired from another job earlier this year after attacking another employee, according to a restraining order filed against him earlier this year.<br />
The co-worker sought a peace order against Radee Prince in February, saying Prince had punched his victim in the face and returned and threatened employees.<br />
“He came back to our business justifying what he did was right because the other guy was saying some things that he did not like,” the employee wrote in the application, adding that Prince came back to the business three times after he was fired.</p>

<p>The Sheriff’s Office posted on its Twitter feed around 9:10 a.m. that there was “police activity in area of Emmorton Business Park” and people should avoid the area.<br />
The federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) out of Baltimore also responded to the scene to support the local Harford authorities in their investigation, the federal agency said.<br />

Police tape blocked off his street as armed officers patrolled nearby areas.<br />
Neighbors said Prince was quiet and largely kept to himself.<br />
&#8220;He just really wasn&#8217;t approachable,&#8221; said June Rivera who lives next door. &#8220;Sometimes he got combative with neighbors.&#8221;<br />
Rivera said he was shocked when police started swarming the area Wednesday&#8217;s morning. Then he saw what took place on the news.<br />
&#8220;For him to do that so close to home is crazy,&#8221; Rivera said. &#8220;You wouldn&#8217;t think he had that in him.&#8221;<br />
Cedric Brown said he&#8217;s lived near Prince for the past three-and-a-half years. He said Prince lived with a woman.<br />
The two men would sometimes shovel snow together, and Brown said Prince never appeared violent.<br />
&#8220;I only saw him smiling and laughing,&#8221; said Brown.<br />
&#8220;I was shocked when they said it was him.&#8221;</p>

<p><span class="trb_em_pq_c">Gov. Larry Hogan said the state had two helicopters and the state’s fugitive apprehension team looking for the suspect.<br />
</span>“The killer remains on the loose. He was last seen heading toward Cecil County, toward Elkton, close to the Delaware line,” Gov Hogan said during an unrelated event at the State House in Annapolis.<br />
The governor said the FBI, the Maryland State Police and the Maryland Transportation Authority are helping the sheriff’s office with the investigation.<br />
The Goldstar Group, which owns the office park, offered its condolences in a statement.<br />
“We continue to gather information and plan to work fully with local law enforcement officials during their on-going investigation,” the statement read. “We are committed to helping our tenants in any manner we can and intend to be an important resource.”<br />
The wounded were described as being in “serious condition.”</p>

<p>At least two people were rushed to the University of Maryland Medical Center’s shock trauma facility in Baltimore according to <a href="http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/harford/aegis/ph-ag-edgewood-shooting-20171018-story.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the Baltimore Sun</a>.<br />
The FBI is reportedly, treating this as an instance of workplace violence and doesn’t believe terrorism was involved.</p>
