A New York City police officer is being accused of sending lewd text messages to a Bronx woman after he arrested her for allegedly shoplifting, according to a new lawsuit.
Kammie Sifonte, 22, is suing 24-year-old NYPD Officer Rony Santiago, the NYPD and the city for ‘in excess of $25,000’ for the ‘extreme and outrageous conduct’ which she claims violated her civil rights and caused her emotional distress, according to her lawsuit filed in the Bronx Supreme Court.
Her ordeal began November 21, 2016 when she was arrested by Santiago for allegedly shoplifting at Target. Sifonte was taken to the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx before being released a short time later on a desk-appearance ticket.

She claims that roughly 20 minutes after releasing her on a desk-appearance ticket, officer Santiago began pestering her with a slew of vulgar texts at her, telling her he wanted to participate in a “threesome orgy” and that she was “thick in all the right places,” the Bronx Supreme Court suit alleges.
She didn’t give him her phone number she said, and believes he took it from the paperwork.
Officer Rony Santiago offered to “rub you anywhere you want,” to the plaintiff, according to the suit, filed by her attorney, Henry Bell.

Her ordeal, Sifonte, says, began November 21, 2016 when she was arrested by Officer Rony Santiago [for allegedly shoplifting at Target], and taken to the 52nd Precinct.
She claims that roughly 20 minutes after releasing her on a desk-appearance ticket, the cop fired a slew of vulgar texts at her, telling her he wanted to participate in a “threesome orgy” and that she was “thick in all the right places,” the Bronx Supreme Court suit alleges.

The NYPD officer, told the woman he just booked that he regularly flirts with attractive women he arrests, according to the court filing.
Sifonte, who works as a pet-care specialist, said she reluctantly played along and responded out of fear that Santiago could control the outcome of her criminal case. She said she even texted him a picture of herself. She was worried that if she spurned him, he would testify at her trial and possibly lie, she said.
The criminal case against Sifonte was later dismissed and sealed, according to Bell.
The 22-year-old Bronx woman told the New York Post that the first few messages she received were aggressive, but they weren’t vulgar.
‘You owe me donuts,’ Santiago allegedly wrote. ‘[w]henever you are free let me know…I get off at 4.’
As time progressed, the chase became edgy, Sifonte in her filing claims Santiago began sending her a number of explicit text messages saying he wanted to participate in a ‘threesome orgy’ and that she was ‘thick in all the right places,’ the suit alleges..
