<p>Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox, 26, is being sued for more than $25,000 for breaking up a North Carolina marriage.<br />
The suit, which claims Cox is liable for alienation of affection, says the Eagles star had sex with Joshua Jeffords&#8217; wife in April, <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2017/11/22/fletcher-cox-lawsuit-alienation-of-affection/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to TMZ</a>.<br />
Jeffords says he has proof of the affair, which includes a text message Cox sent of his penis to the woman, as well as other messages that read “I want to get you pregnant” and “You ain’t gone be no damn single mom.”</p>

<p>In North Carolina, the plaintiff claiming alienation of affection must prove that there was genuine love with the spouse, the love was destroyed and a third party produced the alienation, according to TMZ.<br />
The scorned husband said in the lawsuit, filed on November 22, that he has proof in the form of text messages between Cox and his wife saying he wanted to knock her up, Jeffords believes the text messages prove the alienation.<br />
Joshua Jeffords says the Eagles star had sex with his wife in April while she was on a work trip in Pennsylvania.<br />
Cox has been the backbone of Philadelphia&#8217;s dominant defensive line, registering 14 tackles, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He made headlines in 2016 after signing a six-year, $102 million contract extension. <strong><br />
