<p>California based adult entertainment actor, David Meza, has been sentenced to life in prison in connection with the brutal murder of his boyfriend in 2015.<br />
The porn star, who was reportedly leading a double life at the time of the murder, is accused of<a href="https://konniemoments.com/2017/05/04/federal-jury-convicts-california-bi-swinger-david-meza-of-murdering-his-wealthy-texan-gay-lover-jake-merendino-to-inherit-his-estate/"> stabbing then-boyfriend Jake Merendino</a> 24 times before slitting his throat and dumping his body in a ravine just off a highway in Rosarito Beach, Mexico.<br />
According to <a href="http://people.com/crime/david-meza-life-sentence-murder-wealthy-male-lover/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a> magazine, the 27-year-old was sentenced to an additional 20 years behind bars due to a conspiracy to obstruct justice conviction handed down during a May court appearance.</p>

<p>Meza was also charged with domestic violence resulting in murder. The judge described the crime against Merendino as &#8220;shockingly evil&#8221; .<br />
&#8220;The Merriam dictionary defines &#8216;heinous&#8217; as hatefully or shockingly evil, abominable,&#8221; U.S. District Judge Jeffrey T. Miller said during the hearing on Monday.<br />
&#8220;The murder was shockingly evil — excessively so.&#8221;<br />
Judge Miller in graphic details recounted what Meza did to his victim, describing the repeated &#8220;torture&#8221; he endured.<br />

Prosecutors said Meza killed Merendino in the hopes of inheriting his $3 million estate along with his $273,000 condo with an oceanfront view.<br />
The 51-year-old inherited his fortune from his parents, both of whom were employed at one time by ExxonMobil.<br />
Merendino made Meza the beneficiary of the condo and drafted a will on hotel letterhead in December 2014, just over a year after the pair met.<br />

&#8220;His double life was collapsing under his own weight. A solution was the savage murder of Mr. Merendino,&#8221; the judge stated.<br />
When the killing occurred in May 2015, authorities claimed Meza was working as an online escort.<br />
Unbeknownst to Merendino, People reported, Meza was dating a woman named Taylor Langston.<br />
Langston was pregnant when the crime occurred and was called in to assist in covering up Merendino&#8217;s murder.</p>

<p>According to the publication, she pleaded guilty in February to one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice. She told police that when Merendino died, she and her beau had just crossed into Mexico to visit a friend named &#8220;Joe&#8221; in Tijuana at the time of Merendino’s murder.<br />
She claimed they spent four hours there before returning home to San Diego.<br />
Meza was charged with the same crime because authorities suspected he&#8217;d contacted &#8220;Joe&#8221; and requested a fake alibi for him and his girlfriend.<br />
However, phone records and Facebook posts contradicted that alibi, and “Joe,” later identified as Jose Aguilera, told investigators he had not seen the couple for a year and a half and they have never visited his home.</p>
