<p>Hicks, 25, was arrested Wednesday “in connection with a string of armed street robberies that occurred yesterday morning,” Sgt. Derek Green of the Burbank, Calif., police department told Page Six on Thursday.<br />
“He is currently being held on $350,000 bail and is due in court tomorrow,” Green added.<br />
The police department later released a statement that read: “A male and female have been arrested in connection with a series of early morning armed street robberies. On January 24, 2018, at about 5:15 A.M., a 52-year-old man was walking in the area of Burbank Boulevard and Griffith Park Drive when he was approached by a male armed with a handgun.<br />
Hicks allegedly, pointed the handgun at the victim and demanded his wallet. Fearing for his life, the victim ran away and was able to escape to safety. As police officers were investigating the first robbery, three additional armed street robberies occurred within minutes of each other.<br />
All three robberies took place in the Burbank hillside community and involved unsuspecting victims out for a walk. The victims all provided similar descriptions of the suspect and his vehicle.”</p>

<p>The female accomplice was identified as Danni Tamburo [photo, L-R], a 23-year-old Burbank resident.<br />
“Witnesses to the robberies described the suspect’s vehicle as a dark-colored Kia with at least two occupants. Moments later, a witness reported seeing a vehicle matching the description in the 1600 block of Scott Road.<br />
Officers located the car, detaining a female connected to at least one of the robbery suspects,” the statement continued.<br />
Police say they also found “property with the vehicle belonging to one of the robbery victims, and additional stolen property in a nearby area. Burbank Police Detectives were then led to a home believed to be linked to the suspects, located in the 1800 block of North Niagara Street.<br />
Due to the nature of the crimes, members of the Burbank Police Department S.W.A.T. Team assisted in serving a search warrant on the residence. Both suspects were detained at the home.<br />
Hicks allegedly carried out the armed robberies, while Tamburo is suspected of driving the car that was seen in connection with the robberies, according to police.<br />
While the relationship between Hicks and Tamburo was not immediately confirmed, photos <a href="https://www.instagram.com/dannishea/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted on Tamburo’s Instagram page</a> indicated the two were romantically involved.<br />
Hicks recently appeared on Hulu’s “Freakish” series and is best known for his roles in “Zeke and Luther” and “How to Eat Fried Worms.”</p>

<p><span class="caption medium-text">Adam Hicks joins the growing list of Disney stars to have run afoul of the law in recent times after his arrest Wednesday for allegedly committing 4 or 5 armed robberies in the San Fernando Valley.<br />
Sources say Hicks and his girlfriend, Danni Tamburo, would go up to people walking, stick a gun in their face and demand money, cellphones and other items.<br />
Another Disney star, Shaun Weiss got busted for meth after cops in Burbank got a call for a suspicious person stumbling around in a neighborhood. Weiss had been released from jail five days earlier after serving his sentence for petty theft.<br />
Orlando Brown was recently arrested after a family dispute led to cops showing up at the star&#8217;s apartment. Cops then checked the system and arrested him for an active warrant popping up<br />
