<p class="mol-para-with-font">A teenager from Iowa allegedly murdered his former girlfriend so that she could &#8216;feel the pain&#8217; he was enduring since their break-up, police interviews in court documents show.<br />
Tran Walker, 18, was unhappy that Paiten Sullivan ended their relationship and stabbed her on Sunday when they were in a vehicle with a friend who was also fatally stabbed as he tried to intervene, <a class="" href="http://siouxcityjournal.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/update-sioux-city-homicide-suspect-wanted-ex-girlfriend-to-feel/article_d2cd749c-ded8-520e-b6d2-eff3565d7279.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Siouxcity.com</a> reported, citing an affidavit filed in Woodbury County District Court.<br />
According to court documents, Tran, Sullivan and Negron were in a Chrysler PT Cruiser at about 1:19 a.m. Sunday when Walker began his stabbing rampage. Negron, 18, and Sullivan, 17, both of Sioux City, were transported to Mercy Medical Center-Sioux City, where they were pronounced dead, police said.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Walker was found shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday at the Hy-Vee store on Gordon Drive after several bystanders reported there was an injured man at the store. Officers reporting to the scene determined that he fit the description of the stabbing suspect and took him into custody. He was treated at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s for injuries consistent with knife wounds on his hand.<br />
Bertrand said Walker was in possession of a knife when he was arrested, but it was not believed to be the murder weapon. Police later recovered the knife they believe Walker used to stab the victims.<br />
Tran Walker has allegedly confessed to the two murders and is due to appear in court again next month.<br />
Walker, from Sioux City, was arrested at a local grocery store where he showed up injured. He is accused of two counts of first-degree murder and is reported to have confessed to the fatal stabbings in an interview with police. He is now being held at Woodbury County Jail.<br />
District Associate Judge Todd Hensley set bond at $1 million at Walker&#8217;s initial appearance in court early on Monday morning. The next hearing has been set for 8 February.</p>
