A 65-year-old man in Mesquite, near Dallas, Texas has been arrested for sexually abusing a minor, just a week after his pastor son, 33, was arrested on three counts of sexual assault of a child. The church provides children with rides to and from services and Sunday school and according to Mesquite police, a church member said Winn raped her three years ago, when she was 16.
Larry Winn ran the bus ministry at Open Door Baptist Church on South Belt Line Road in Dallas.
He was arrested on Thursday on one count of sexual assault of a child and was released from the Dallas County jail Monday after posting $25,000 bond.
The church’s website no longer lists Winn as a member of staff. For the older Winn, police have suggested there may be more victims given that his position at the church gave his access to children for several years. 
The near twist occurred nearly a week after the arrest of his son Steven Aaron Winn, 33, of Crandall, who is an assistant youth pastor at the church, was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault of a child in Dallas and Kaufman counties.

After Mesquite Police Department received a report of an improper relationship on Feb. 18. An investigation revealed that the assistant pastor had an ongoing sexual relationship with a 15- to 16-year-old girl over the course of the last 14 months. Steven was arrested was on Feb. 27.
Steven allegedly also had a sexual relationship with a female student at the church’s Christian academy for more than a year, when she was just 15-years-old.

Steven additionally faces three counts of sexual assault of a child in Kaufman County.

Meanwhile his son, Steven Winn, who is also charged with similar crimes had his 14-year tenure as a construction inspector for the city of Mesquite in the Public Works Department terminated on Feb. 20.
Steven has been charged with three counts of sexual assault of a child in Dallas County with a bond of $25,000 for each count, and another three counts of sexual assault of a child in Kaufman County with a bond of $1,000 for each.
He is being held at the Dallas County jail, with total bail set at $375,000.
