<p data-page="1">A 34-year-old woman suspected of feeding her murdered lover&#8217;s remains to neighbors at a barbecue may be responsible for the deaths of at least nine other people potentially buried across the Midwest.</p>

<p>Kelly Marie Cochran in April was sentenced to 65 years in prison after she admitted to injecting her husband, Jason Cochran, with a lethal dose of heroin before smothering him with a pillow. She&#8217;d already been serving a life sentence at the time for killing and dismembering her lover, Chris Regan, according to the <a href="https://www.indystar.com/story/news/crime/2018/05/09/suspected-indiana-serial-killer-possible-cannibalism-focus-new-doc/593906002/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Indy Star</a>.</p>

<p>&#8220;Dead North,&#8221; a two-part Investigation Discovery documentary set to air on May 28 and 29, delves into nine additional slayings and disappearances that could be linked to the 34-year-old killer as well as allegations that she served Regan&#8217;s remains to people at a neighborhood party.</p>

<p class="p-text">It&#8217;s told mostly through the perspective of former Iron River Police Chief Laura Frizzo, who started working on the case when Regan first disappeared in 2014. The case remained cold until two years later, when Jason Cochran&#8217;s death was ruled a murder rather than a drug overdose.<br />
Kelly Cochran had been having an affair with Regan and may have been the last person to see him. She told authorities she and her husband had a pact to &#8220;kill off&#8221; those involved in extramarital affairs.</p>

<p class="p-text">The couple then lured Regan to their home, where they fatally shot him and dismembered him before dumping his body in the woods. The fatal ambush however, left Cochran angry with her husband, so she murdered him as revenge for killing 53-year-old Christopher Regan [photo, right] <img class=" size-full wp-image-292900 alignright" src="https://konniemoments.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Christopher-Regan-1.png" alt="Christopher Regan 1.png" width="262" height="344" />on October 13, 2014 in Iron River Michigan.<br />
Jason Chochran was found dead of a suspected overdose in February 2016. The Indiana Lake County Coroner discovered Jason didn’t overdose. He was murdered, cause of death: asphyxiation.<br />
Kelly later admitted to a police investigator that she injected her husband with heroin and then smothered him.<br />
She was sentenced to life in prison for Regan&#8217;s murder in May 2017. After pleading guilty, Cochran was sentenced to serve 65 years on April 18, for her husband&#8217;s murder.<br />
But a news release from Investigation Discovery says that as the two cases were being adjudicated, Kelly Cochran&#8217;s brother came forth out of fear that his sister is a serial killer.</p>

<p>According to a news release from Investigation Discovery, her brother has come forward out of fear that Cochran is actually a serial killer.<br />
Frizzo seems to agree with the claim: &#8220;Despite disagreements with the Iron River city Manager regarding her &#8216;bullheaded&#8217; investigation style, Frizzo remains adamant that the case isn&#8217;t close,&#8221; the release reads. &#8220;The City Manager relieves Frizzo of her duties just as Kelly admits to having other &#8216;friends&#8217; buried in Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee and Minnesota; however, the identities and specific locations of these bodies remain a mystery to this day.&#8221;</p>
