Michigan mother, Crystal Reynolds Fisher, shared text messages between her and her manager who seemed to lack all sense of compassion
Fisher who works in the PS Food Mart at a gas station in Albion was informing her manager her son was on life support, she would not be coming in for the day 
In the texts, the manager berates Fisher for not, abandoning the child, and come in to work  
Finally she threatens Fisher’s job – If she didn’t come to work that meant that she had quit 
Fisher’s son, Jason, is still on life support & doctors think he has cellulitis sepsis 
The manager, only identified as Dawn, was fired from position at PS Food Mart Monday, following the public backlash over the incident 
Fisher meanwhile has been granted time off to nurse her son

Stepping up their damage control with a swift response, a convenience store in Albion, Michigan has fired one of their managers following an unseemingly text exchange with a mother in distress. The female manager was fired from her position after she sent ‘heartless’ text messages to an employee who was unable to come in to work after her son was put on life support.
Crystal Reynolds Fisher, who is an employee at PS Food Mart in Michigan, shared the cruel texts she received from her boss, who was only identified as Dawn, on Facebook.
‘So my son is on life support and I tell my boss 48 hours before I am to work again that I will not be able to work until my son is off life support and this is what she tells me!’ Fisher wrote in the caption of the screenshots.
Fisher revealed that her teenage son, Jason, is believed to have cellulitis sepsis and was placed on life-support on Saturday.

In Fisher’s first text to her boss, Dawn, she explained that once her son, Jason, starts to get better that she’ll let her know when she can come back to work.
Dawn replied: ‘That isn’t how we do things, so I’ll accept that you’re quitting.’
A shocked Fisher then asked how things are done and if she was being fired because her son’s condition.
‘If you can’t come to work that’s you quitting,’ the manager wrote.
Fisher told her manager that she wanted to let her know ahead of time, but the woman still told Fisher that she would accept that she’s quitting. |
‘There is no reason you can’t work and I will not tolerate drama. End of conversation. If you aren’t there to work your shift tomorrow then I take that as you’ve quit,’ the manager wrote.
