A Texas bank employee accused of being an accomplice to a violent armed robbery appeared in court Wednesday to face charges.
Shelby Wyse, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on Tuesday for her alleged part in a brazen daytime attack on a woman carrying $75,000 in Houston.

The mother-of-one appeared before a judge Wednesday, wearing a Whitney Houston tank top with her hair scraped up in a top knot.
Court documents state that security footage captures Wyse watching the woman while she conducted her business at the bank.
She then allegedly sent a text message to her boyfriend Travoon Johnson, one of the men arrested in the robbery, immediately after the woman left with the large withdrawal.
‘Presumably a go signal,’ the indictment reads.

Wyse allegedly rented the vehicle used in the smash and grab robbery. She appeared in court Wednesday [photo], and was held on a $75,000 bond

Investigators are in the process of obtaining a search warrant on her phone to confirm what the text message contents.
Shocking footage captured by a surveillance camera shows the men, both Black, ambush the woman outside a gas station after following her from the branch of the Wallis State Bank where Wyse was employed.

The two robbers tried to grab the victim’s purse

The clip, released by the Harris County Precinct Constable’s office, shows one of the men jump into a car and back over the woman as she struggles to fend off the thieves.
The woman’s husband can be seen rushing out of the store as she continues tussling with the suspect and soon all three are stuck in a battle over the purse.
The woman, who remains unidentified, was rushed to a nearby Houston hospital and remains in a critical condition.
Wyse was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
Prosecutors say that Wyse rented the vehicle used in the attack.
According to Click2Houston, Wyse told detectives that the car had been stolen during questioning, but authorities say that they have no record of the complaint.
Cellphone records also show an exchange of text messages between Johnson, 27, and 31-year-old Davis Mitchell, the other man charged in the attack, about the robbery.
Mitchell was arrested shortly after the robbery and the stolen cash was recovered.
