<p>A doctor who appeared on Bravo reality show Online Dating Rituals of the American Male has been accused of teaming up with a woman believed to be his girlfriend to drug, sexually assault and rape women.</p>

<p>Law enforcement asked possible victims to come forward on Tuesday after Grant William Robicheaux and Cerissa Laura Riley were charged in early September.<br />
The charges against Robicheaux and Riley were announced two years after a couple of alleged victims from Newport Beach shared their stories of sexual abuse.<br />
The accounts appear to be corroborated by pictures and videos found on the couple&#8217;s phones that suggest they could have taken advantage of up to 1,000 women.</p>

<div>&#8216;There are several videos where there women in the videos appear to be highly intoxicated beyond the ability to consent or resist and they&#8217;re barely responsive to the defendants&#8217; sexual advances,&#8217; Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas, said during a press conference in Santa Ana.</div>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Robicheaux, 38, is an orthopedic surgeon in California&#8217;s affluent Orange County.<br />
The doctor and Riley, 31, have been accused of committing &#8216;rape by use of drugs, oral copulation by anesthesia or a controlled substance, assault with intent to commit sexual offense and four counts of possession of a controlled substance for sale,&#8217; reports <a class="class" href="https://ktla.com/2018/09/18/newport-beach-surgeon-woman-charged-with-drugging-and-sexually-assaulting-women-ocda/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">KTLA</a>.<br />
On top of those charges, both defendants could face further punishment for illegally possessing firearms.</p>

Robicheaux, 38, who appeared on Bravo reality show Online Dating Rituals of the American Male, authorities said also had two assault rifles unlawfully and his charges are enhanced for possessing a firearm during a health and safety code violation.</div>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Other charges against the two allege large amounts of illegal drugs were found in Robicheaux’s residence in January 2018.<br />
Rackauckas said that the duo are suspected of preying on women at bars and either getting them intoxicated with large amounts of alcohol or using drugs to put them in a state where they were no longer able to take control.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Both accusers say the incidents happened in 2016. One victim claimed she was invited to a party after meeting them at a restaurant in April.<br />
The woman tested positive for multiple drugs the following day after she complained to Newport Beach law enforcement that she was drugged and raped.<br />
Another woman claimed she was taken back to Robicheaux&#8217;s apartment in October that year after falling unconscious due to consuming copious amounts of alcohol.<br />
She alleges the pair sexually assaulted her and intended to rape her before she woke up and screamed for help.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">The woman claims a neighbor contacted law enforcement who investigated the matter.<br />
Large amounts of illegal substances were found on Robicheaux&#8217;s property in January this year according to <a class="class" href="https://abc7.com/oc-surgeon-girlfriend-accused-of-drugging-raping-multiple-victims/4276970/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">ABC7</a>.<br />
The pair who are avid festival-goers were finally arrested last Wednesday after local police submitted a request to the DA on September 6.Investigators are trying to find out whether any of Robicheaux&#8217;s patients were victims and are concerned people they met at Burning Man and Splash House Festival may have fallen victim.<br />
Robicheaux is known for appearing on one episode of the Bravo dating show, titled &#8216;Three&#8217;s a Crowd&#8217;, but the show only lasted for one season in 2014.</p>
