<p>Double murder suspect Kirby Wallace was taken into custody Friday following a days-long manhunt in the Tennessee woods after being spotted hiding beside a chicken pen.</p>

<p>The Montgomery County Sheriff&#8217;s Office confirmed the former fugitive’s capture in a tweet after announcing earlier in the morning that the search for Wallace had extended into Stewart County following a “credible sighting” there.</p>

<p>A SWAT team searched the property of Mitchell Allen, a resident of Stewart County community Indian Mound, after a neighbor told Allen he spotted a man near his home, the Leaf-Chronicle reports.</p>

<p>“He was hunkered down beside of a chicken pen behind a truck,” Allen told The Leaf-Chronicle.<br />
Officials had been searching for 53-year-old murder suspect Kirby Gene Wallace, a TBI Top 10 most wanted fugitive, on charges of first-degree murder, felony murder, aggravated arson, especially aggravated kidnapping, especially aggravated robbery, especially aggravated burglary and theft of property.</p>
