<p class="mol-para-with-font">Students at the University of Southern California have referred 60 of their classmates to the Judicial Council in the wake of the admissions bribery bombshell that implicated the daughters of tinsel stars Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman.<br />
The atmosphere at the university, which was attended by Loughlin&#8217;s two daughters, Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella Rose, 20<strong>, </strong>until last week, is reportedly &#8216;hysterical&#8217;, with suspicion rife that many more students cheated or bribed their way into the prestigious college.<br />
Of the 60 complaints, while the Council determined 57 allegations were unfounded, the Council is seriously investigating three, <a class="class" href="https://www.tmz.com/2019/03/20/usc-student-council-investigating-60-cheating-scandal/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TMZ </a>reports.<br />
Two of these are said to be freshman students, who were recommended to the school&#8217;s athletic department by Rick Singer, the alleged mastermind of the scam.<br />
A source close to the Council hinting that there is a suspected link with the men&#8217;s lacrosse team, although they have not determined if there was any wrongdoing &#8230; at least, not yet.<br />
The two students affected , it was reported, appeared &#8220;very nervous&#8221; after the scandal broke.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">The two were said to have become &#8216;very nervous&#8217; when news of the scandal first broke.<br />
The third student is reportedly a junior who also used Singer for help with her application. Her parents are &#8216;un-indicted co-conspirators&#8217; from the East Coast, TMZ reports. The case of the third student was referred to the Judicial Council by a faculty member<br />
School officials have already said six students who applied to USC last fall would be rejected because of their ties to the scheme, and the school confirmed it had suspended the accounts of students linked to the scandal to stop them registering for classes or obtaining transcripts.<br />
USC has placed holds on the accounts of students who may be associated with the alleged admissions scheme; this prevents the students from registering for classes or acquiring transcripts while their cases are under review,&#8217; the school tweeted.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Officials also said on Monday night that they would expel any students who knowingly took advantage of the scheme &#8211; which is the largest college admissions cheating scandal in U.S. history &#8211; after it completes a reviews of their records.<br />
&#8216;These students have been notified that their status is under review. Following the review, we will take the proper action related to their status, up to revoking admission or expulsion,&#8217; the school said.<br />
Full House actor Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli were among 33 parents, along with Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman, who were charged with bribing individuals to &#8216;designate their children as recruited athletes, or other favored admissions categories&#8217;.<br />
All three are charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, a felony which carries a maximum sentence of five years behind bars.<br />
USC was the most implicated school &#8211; with more than half the parents charged trying to bribe their children&#8217;s way into the California college.<br />
Prosecutors said wealthy parents either paid bribes to have a college counselor rig standardized tests or get their children admitted as recruits of sports they didn&#8217;t play.<br />
Loughlin and Giannulli – who did not attend college &#8211; are accused of falsely presenting their daughters Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella Rose, 20, as crew recruits and then paying over $500,000 to guarantee their admission to USC.</p>

Both their parents had to post $1 million bail and put their family&#8217;s Bel Air home up as collateral after being charged in what investigators have dubbed &#8216;Operation Varsity Blues&#8217;.<br />
Olivia and Isabella have since decided to withdraw from the school, reportedly due the backlash their family had received. The girls, who reportedly feared they would be &#8216;viciously bullied&#8217; if they returned, have no immediate plans to try and enroll in another school.<br />
When announcing the charges, prosecutors said some students involved in the scandal were not aware that their parents had made the alleged dishonest arrangements, although in other cases they knowingly took part.<br />
One of the parents charged in the scandal is HomayounZadeh &#8211; a USC dentistry professor now facing termination.</p>

Earlier this week it emerged Loughlin and Giannulli had strengthened their legal defense team by hiring a former director the Department of Justice&#8217;s Enron Task Force.<br />
Sean M. Berkowitz oversaw the federal prosecution team during the infamous Enron scandal, which led to company&#8217;s CEOs Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling being convicted of fraud and conspiracy in 2006.</div>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">According to documents, Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly emailed college cheating scandal mastermind William &#8216;Rick&#8217; Singer in 2016 about their daughters&#8217; college prospects, stating that they wanted to do the necessary work to see that the girls got into USC as opposed to Arizona State University.<br />
Federal prosecutors in Boston charged Singer, 58, with running the racketeering scheme through his Edge College &; Career Network.<br />
His network served a roster of clients including actresses and chief executives.<br />
Some 33 parents were charged, as well as 13 coaches and associates of Singer&#8217;s business.<br />
Prosecutors said Singer&#8217;s operation arranged for fake testers to take college admissions exams in place of his clients&#8217; children, and also bribed coaches to give admissions slots meant to be reserved for recruited athletes even if the applicants had no athletic ability.<br />
Emails obtained by investigators revealed that it was soon decided that bribes would be paid to have the girls recruited onto the crew team, despite the fact that they did not participate in the sport.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Dr Donna Heinel, USC&#8217;s senior associate athletic director, first presented Isabella as a potential athletic recruit and she was approved for conditional admission.<br />
It was then asked that a check be sent to Heinel for $50,000 from Giannulli.<br />
Isabella received her admission letter the following March, which was followed by another note requesting a donation of $200,000 to Key Worldwide Foundation.<br />
This same exact process was then repeated with younger daughter Olivia, the documents claim.<br />
Olivia&#8217;s guidance counselor reportedly became curious as to how she managed to receive admission based on her involvement in crew when she did not even row.<br />
But everything truly began to fall apart in October 2018 when the IRS audited Key Worldwide and began to look into donations made by parents whose children were then admitted to USC.<br />
