SWAT and DEA agents surround the Quality Inn Hotel in Manchester, NH where the suspects have been barricaded since Wednesday night

Three people are dead after a nearly 15-hour standoff inside a hotel room in Manchester, New Hampshire, police in Nashua County announced  Thursday.
Two suspects sere found dead inside a hotel room after a nearly 15-hourlong barricade situation that started with the fatal police-involved shooting of another man, who stormed out of a room shooting at officers who surrounded the Quality Inn Hotel, according to the New Hampshire attorney general’s office.

Stephen Marshall, a drug addicted small time criminal with a life-long history of run-ins with the law was the first suspect to be killed in the standoff

The barricade started Wednesday evening at the Quality Inn Manchester Airport hotel and lasted until just after 10 a.m. Thursday, after a man was fatally shot by authorities when he allegedly opened fire on them. SWAT teams worked through the night to get two remaining suspects to come out of the hotel room, including using chemical agents, as at least one suspect repeatedly shot at law enforcement agents for more than nine hours.

The two suspects who were found dead inside the first floor hotel room Thursday morning have not been publicly identified.
The man who was killed on Wednesday has been identified as 51-year-old Manchester resident Stephen Marshall, officials said in a press conference early Thursday.
Marshall was killed after a Manchester police officer and a Drug Enforcement Administration agent returned fire, according to police.

Police have been under fire by from the two other suspects who barricaded themselves in a room at the Quality Inn Hotel in Manchester, New Hampshire since Wednesday night

Marshall, who was holding a firearm, engaged with officials near the back of the John E. Devine Drive hotel at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. After he was shot.

Marshall was transported to nearby Elliot Hospital and was later pronounced dead. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
Authorities did not release the names of the officer and DEA agent involved in the shooting pending the investigation but did say the officer was placed on administrative leave until further notice.
Officials said they’ll hold a 2 p.m. press conference at the Manchester Police Department to update the public about the investigation.
