<p>Four of the five family members who ;died in the<a href="https://konniemoments.com/2019/02/26/mother-daughter-philly-killer-duo-charged-in-family-murders-unrepentant-shana-selena-decree-and-daughter-dominique-decree-say-victims-wanted-to-die/"> Pennsylvania “demon cult” killings</a> last month were allegedly asphyxiated. The fifth was strangled, according to local officials.<br />
The causes of death were released Friday by Bucks County Coroner’s Office.<br />

<p>According to officials, Campbell was the lone family member who got strangled and the others were all asphyxiated. All five deaths were ruled to be homicides.</p>

<p>Shana Decree, 46, and her daughter Dominique Decree, 19, have both been charged with the murders. They are awaiting a preliminary hearing in the case, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, but are expected back in court next month.<br />

The mother &#8211; daughter killer pair were charged with killing five relatives recently ranted that the end of the world was coming in February, those close to the family revealed.<br />
Latasha Harris, whose daughter is the half-sister of the massacre’s two youngest victims, said the family had grown concerned about accused killers Shana and Dominique Decree’s increasingly bizarre behavior and another relative, Tyquilla Campbell, went check in on the Morrisville family.<br />
“Tyquilla went there, more concerned for the kids, and they were basically like, ‘Get out of here, you’re a demon. You’re not wanted here, you’re going to die,’” said Harris, 46.<br />
“They said something about [how] the world is supposed to be coming to an end in February of 2019.”</p>

<p>Relatives believe “I think the whole family was brainwashed by the mother, Shana,”<br />
They also said the nightmare was a botched murder-suicide. “I’m thinking [Shana and Dominique] were waiting to die, also. They were all supposed to go, but it just didn’t go according to plan,” a close relative said.<br />
After the murders, the mother-daughter pair were found sitting in a bed in their ramshackle home surrounded by the bodies of two of Shana’s children, Naa’Irah Smith, 25, and Damon Decree Jr., 13; Shana’s sister, Jamilla Campbell, 42; and Jamilla’s twin 9-year-old daughters, Imani and Erika Allen, authorities said.<br />

No illegal drugs were found in the home, although there was prescription medication. Shana and Dominique have each been charged with five counts of homicide and one count of conspiracy. Shana suffered from lupus, police said.</p>

<p>The suspects have offered wildly divergent and often contradictory accounts of what happened, with Shana at one point telling cops that the victims “wanted to die,” according to court papers.<br />
Decree, who is the mother of Naa’Irah and Damon, was said to have joined “some type of cult” with Dominique before the killings — which “materialized online,” according to relatives.<br />
“They were talking about demons being all around them,” said Damon’s father, Damon Decree Sr., in an interview with WTVD.<br />

However, police officials later shot down the allegation — saying there was no indication of a cult being involved.<br />
“The investigation into these murders continues with one goal: justice for five people killed in Bucks County,” said Deputy District Attorney Christopher Rees in a statement to the Bucks County Courier Times. “We are committed to seeking justice for Erika, Imani, Damon, Naa’Irah and Jamilla. We recognize that the public is very interested in this story and we are grateful for the community’s support. In deference to this overwhelming tragedy, we ask that everyone respect the families’ privacy as they continue to mourn their loved ones.”</p>
