<p class="mol-para-with-font">After committing the grizzly murder, and stabbing him a dozen times, the pair reportedly botched the attempt to hide the body.<br />
They bungled burning some of him on a barbecue, so stuffed some of his remains in a suitcase and dumped them in a sewer, according to police.<br />
Other body parts were hidden in two backpacks at the couple&#8217;s home.<br />
They have both confessed to the killing and face homicide, torture and concealing a corpse charges.<br />

Cândido reportedly claimed the lad was a &#8216;burden&#8217; and a hindrance to her relationship with Pessoa.<br />
She also &#8216;felt hatred and no love&#8217; for him because he reminded her of father, who allegedly abused her.</p>
