<p>Prince George’s County police charged Barba Maulana Koroma Saturday morning with first-degree murder in the death of his father, Barba Koroma, 62, according to a statement released by a department spokesman. Koroma was charged as an adult and is being held without bond, police said.<br />

Officers said they located the younger Koroma at the scene, walking out of the wooded area. Koroma was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital, then transported to the Prince George’s Homicide Unit for questioning, police said.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text);">In addition to first-degree murder, 17-year-old Koroma was charged as an adult, with second-degree murder and assault.</span><br />
He is being held without bond.</p>
