<p>The Oklahoma cop accused of <a href="https://nypost.com/2019/11/11/oklahoma-officer-arrested-for-killing-his-police-chief-lucky-miller-during-altercation/">killing his police chief</a> in a Florida hotel room on Sunday was found by deputies “mumbling” incoherently after the alleged attack, a report said.<br />
Before authorities arrived at the Hilton on Pensacola Beach, a maintenance worker also allegedly spotted Mannford Police Officer Michael Patrick Nealey, 49, sitting on top of his chief, Lucky Miller, <a href="https://weartv.com/news/local/suspect-found-sitting-on-slain-police-chief-on-pensacola-beach" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">according to WEAR TV</a>, citing a police report.<br />
Miller was found dead inside the hotel room, police have said.<br />
Deputies were called around 9:50 p.m. to the Hilton Inn, where Miller was found dead, the outlet reported.<br />
The cops, in town for a law enforcement conference, got into a fight before the alleged fatal attack.</p>

<p>The police report states that responding officers arrived to find Miller was lying on the ground, pulseless and not responsive when they arrived, and Nealey was also lying on the ground “mumbling.”<br />
Miller’s face was battered, with an eye swollen, and Nealey’s hand was swollen and red.<br />

A maintenance worker had previously responded to a noise complaint at the hotel room, heard someone “grunting,” and allegedly found Nealey sitting on Miller. When the worker pulled Nealy off Miller, Nealey’s face struck the ground.<br />
Nealey was booked into Escambia County Jail. He was arraigned on a charge of second-degree murder on Tuesday and is being held on $500,000 bond,<br />
The City of Mannford posted a statement on Facebook, saying 44-year-old Miller served as the police chief since 2007. He is survived by his wife and three children.<br />
The State Attorney&#8217;s Office said the men were friends and staying in the same hotel room, but then a physical altercation turned deadly.</p>
