<p class="mol-para-with-font">Officers reported the pair&#8217;s mother Tasha Vandiver, 46, missing and her vehicle, a white 2007 Chevrolet Malibu, unaccounted for.<br />
&#8216;Tasha has been entered as missing and we are unsure at this time if she is in any danger,&#8217; a Monroe County Sheriff&#8217;s Office news release said Thursday.<br />
However, a nationwide lookout for the car led Kentucky police to locate the vehicle later that afternoon more than 450 miles away in McCracken County.<br />
When they pulled the vehicle over, they found Candace behind the wheel, <a class="class" href="https://www.13wmaz.com/article/news/local/two-dead-in-monroe-county-fire/93-38ebf5c9-748a-4e4d-9be5-960b4480666b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">13WMAZ</a> reported.<br />
The teen suspect who attends Mary Persons High School, told officers that she was bound for Oregon: “We believe she’s got a boyfriend in Oregon,” Freeman said.<br />
The sheriff said officers searched the white Chevy Malibu she was in and located some incriminating things.<br />
Monroe sheriff’s investigators traveled through the night Thursday to Kentucky and spoke to Candace Walton, Sheriff Freeman said.</p>
