<p class="mol-para-with-font">The decapitated and dismembered body of a self-made millionaire was found Tuesday in his luxury Manhattan apartment by a family member. New York police are now hunting for a professional killer who cut up the 33-year-old&#8217;s body with an electric saw.<br />
The man has been identified by as Fahim Saleh, a known millionaire tech entrepreneur.<br />
The alarm was raised after one of Saleh&#8217;s female cousins became concerned after not hearing from him for a day. She went to the seventh floor unit to check on her brother only to be met with a horrific sight.<br />
Her cousin&#8217;s body had been cut up with a power saw, which was lying nearby and was still plugged in. The body parts had been sorted into different plastic bags.<br />
Police believe they have surveillance footage of the suspect entering the building and then using the elevator.<br />
Video shows the gloved suspect wearing gloves, along with a hat and mask covering his face.</p>

<p>Shortly after police arrived on the scene, they were seen questioning a sobbing woman , later identified as the victim’s cousin, in the lobby of the building.<br />
The victim’s cousin found his torso exposed in the living room alongside the construction bags and the saw when she went to check on him Tuesday after not hearing from him, according to sources.<br />
“She was really upset. Crying. Shaking,” said one resident who witnessed the scene.<br />
“She was just sitting there but you can tell her legs were shaking. She’s nervous. She was crying like, you know, wiping her eyes.”<br />
“She was screaming when she first came down,” the source said Faust.</p>

<div>As soon as he walked out into his home, Saleh was seen falling to the floor, likely from being shot or stunned. The precise manner of the attack is pointing towards a professional hit job, police believe.<br />
Saleh bought the luxury condominium for $2.25 million last year and was proud of his new home, regularly posting pictures and video from the place on his Instagram.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;">Saleh was a Bangladeshi American who founded and invested in several transportation-related startups, according to his LinkedIn page</span>.<br />
In 2015, he co-founded Pathao, a ride-hailing company in his parents’ home country of Bangladesh.<br />
Roughly two years later, in December 2017, he co-founded Gokada, an on-demand motorbike-hailing company in Lagos, Nigeria, and took over as its CEO in April last year. He most recently oversaw the company’s transition to delivery service during the coronavirus pandemic.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;">The firm, Gokada, recently faced severe setbacks after being banned earlier this year by the Nigerian government. </span></p>
<p>It was forced to lay off around 50% of its staff and pivot from being a motorbike based taxi service to a delivery courier.</p></div>

Saleh had last been seen on Monday afternoon walking into his building&#8217;s elevator.<br />
Surveillance footage is also believed to have caught the killer carrying a bag and waiting to enter the elevator with his victim.<br />
&#8216;The perp had a suitcase. He was very professional,&#8217; one police source told the News.<br />
Sources told The Post that as the pair rode up to the seventh floor apartment together, Saleh appeared puzzled, but no sooner had he stepped out into his home, the attack began. <span style="color: var(--color-text); font-size: 1rem;"> </span></p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">There were signs of attempts to hide evidence. Police are now trying to work out whether the arrival of the victim&#8217;s sister interrupted the dismembering of the body.<br />
Detectives are also looking to see if the killer was able to escape through another exit.<br />
&#8216;We have a torso, a head that&#8217;s been removed, arms, and legs. Everything is still on the scene. We don&#8217;t have a motive,&#8217; NYPD spokesman Sgt. Carlos Nieves said.<br />
Later, police could be seen in the condo&#8217;s lobby at 265 East Houston Street where they could be seen speaking with a woman who was in tears and who was believed to be one of Saleh&#8217;s two sisters who had found the body.<br />
&#8216;She was really upset. Crying. Shaking,&#8217; Danny Faust said to The Post. &#8216;She was just sitting there but you can tell her legs were shaking. She&#8217;s nervous. She was crying like, you know, wiping her eyes.&#8217;<br />
&#8216;She was screaming when she first came down,&#8217; Faust said.<br />
&#8216;Dead body? Okay. But when you hear chopped up and dismembered? That&#8217;s it. That&#8217;s a sick type of mind for somebody to do that,&#8217; he added.</p>

He never said he was scared,&#8217; another friend recalled. &#8216;[He was] always very happy-go-lucky.&#8217; He also enjoyed bringing tech companies into underdeveloped nations including Nigeria and Indonesia. </span></div>
