Police initially arrested the suspect, Taylor Morton, a 27-year-old from Simms, Texas, after she was stopped for speeding near DeKalb by a Texas trooper at 10 a.m. on Friday

Hancock who already shared a three-year-old daughter with her husband, had excitedly shared photographs of her ultrasound on social media. She’d planned to name her second daughter Braxlynn

Taylor Mortont was taken into custody 45 miles from Reagan’s home after reportedly taking the baby to a hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma

The suspect who told police initially that she barely knew the victim

Morton who has two children, ages six and 10, allegedly , later “confessed to the murder and kidnapping, telling officers she told her boyfriend that she was pregnant in February and they even had a gender reveal party”

The infant later died and the suspect has been charged with kidnapping and murder of an unborn child

A heavily pregnant woman has been killed along with her unborn baby in Texas, allegedly by a friend who cut the infant from her womb. The womb raider then took the infant girl her to a hospital across state lines.  The baby has since died.
The victim, Reagan Hancock, was found by her mother in her home in New Boston, Texas, on Friday.  Hancock died from her injuries. Local news media reported that she was “beaten and stabbed to death and had her baby cut from her womb.”
Hancock, 22, who was seven and a half months pregnant, had had her belly cut open and the baby she was carrying was ripped from her womb.
45 miles away, across state lines in Idabel, Oklahoma, a female suspect was arrested after allegedly taking the missing baby to a hospital there.
The suspect identified as Taylor Morton, a 27-year-old hailing from Simms, Texas, was speeding near DeKalb when she was stopped by a Texas trooper at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Hancock’s family in social media postings revealed that Morton was a friends with the victim. 
Police are yet to reveal the motive, but the suspect has been charged with kidnapping and murder of an unborn child. She had fled across state lines with the infant where the child later died.

Friends and family identified Hancock as the victim in social media posts and revealed she had been friends with her attacker.

The post revealed the young mom had been expecting a second child with her husband Homer, The couple who married in 2019, shared a three-year-old daughter.

That suspect who has two children, ages six and 10, is described as a 27-year-old woman from Simms, Texas was speeding near DeKalb when she was stopped by a Texas trooper at 10 a.m. on Friday.
The suspect allegedly told the trooper that she “had just given birth and her newborn baby, which was in the car, was not breathing.”
The trooper tried to perform CPR but could not revive the baby and called for an ambulance.
The woman and her ‘new born child’ were taken to McCurtain Memorial, where “a doctor … knew very quickly that she had not given birth,”
The McCurtain Gazette-News reports.
When reports came in at 1 p.m. that a woman was murdered and her baby taken, police returned to the hospital, arrested the suspect. In custody, she “reportedly confessed to the murder and kidnapping, telling officers she told her boyfriend that she was pregnant in February and they even had a gender reveal party,” the paper reported.
The suspect allegedly, and told police that she didn’t know Hancock well. “She reportedly told officers she only knew the deceased pregnant woman by her first name and thought they were the same age”.
Federal charges could be tagged on to the local murder charges since she is accused of crossing state lines with the infant.
The Texas Rangers reportedly, are now investigating incident.
