<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The parents and two children who were found dead in their Elkview, West Virginia home Sunday morning have been identified<br>On Sunday Daniel Dale Long, 37, his wife Risa Mae Saunders, 39, and their sons Gage Ripley, 12, and Jameson Long, three, were found dead<br>Police said a 16-year-old male from the home was not there when bodies were found and he was later located. <br>By Sunday night the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department announced that the teenage boy was charged with four counts of murder in the incident, but have not identified him.<br>Authorities said the teen suspect who was part of the family was not in the home when the bodies were found, but he was located later in the day.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The family was found on Sunday morning around 10.40am by a relative.<br>who didn’t hear from them on Saturday and visited the Cemetery Hill Drive home in Elkview to check in ;Four family members found dead in West Virginia home. The children&#8217;s grandfather checked-in after not hearing from them over the weekend, ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.wboy.com/news/crime/juvenile-charged-with-murder-in-west-virginia-killing-of-four-family-members-2-adults-and-2-young-boys-found-dead-inside-house/" target="_blank">WBOY</a> ;reported.<br>He found the front door unlocked and the dead bodies inside.<br>Neighbor Nathan Gandee ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.wsaz.com/app/2020/12/15/neighbor-calls-for-help-after-4-found-dead-in-elkview-home/?fbclid=IwAR177O_Vm7mC6uegiqkYkVVU0AIwK6Rzsaa5XvoZ4XQUtjtrqkg7T3or2sk" target="_blank">told WSAZ</a> ;how he helped raise the alarm after one of the Longs’ relatives found their bodies during a wellness check after failing to hear from them.<br>“He said, ‘Well they are all dead … they are all dead in there,’” Gandee recalled.<br>“He said that the parents were in bed. The father still had a CPAP on,” he said, referring to a breathing machine that helps those with sleep apnea.<br>“The child was laying in the hallway in just a puddle of blood,” he told the station, saying he ran inside the house to call for help.<br>“Each victim appears to have been shot, ;” the sheriff’s office said in an earlier release about Sunday morning.<br>It “does not appear to be a random crime.”</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Four members of the family of five were found dead in the home early Sunday. Cops are awaiting autopsy results for the exact cause and time of death.<br>Investigators say each victim appeared to have been shot with a firearm. ;<br>Autopsies were conducted Monday and will determine the cause and time of death. ; ;</p>

Risa (the mom) was almost 40, Dan (the dad) was also almost 40, Gage was a 12 year old boy and Jameson was 3 years old!&#8217; <br>&#8216;None had insurance and we are honestly not sure what to do! I love you guys wait for me in heaven as for I&#8217;ll miss you guys like crazy and I&#8217;ll sure as heck miss those boys,&#8217; he added.</p>
