<p class="wp-block-paragraph">An Oklahoma ;man shot dead his two young daughters while on the phone with his wife and told her ‘How do you like that?’ before eventually turning the gun on himself in what police are calling a murder-suicide.<br>Sand Springs police identified the suspect as David Kaser, 56. Investigators said Kaser fired a fatal gunshot at each of his two daughters &#8211; Clarissa Kaser and Crystal &#8216;Grey&#8217; Kaser on Tuesday afternoon.<br>Clarissa, 19, had just graduated from Charles Page High School. 14-year-old Crystal was attending ninth grade at Clyde Boyd Middle School, according to police. ;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Investigators in Sand Springs said they received a call just before 1pm from the girls’ mother who was at work at the time. She told police that moments earlier she was on the phone with her husband. During their conversation, he threatened to kill their two daughters as well as himself, the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://tulsaworld.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/man-fatally-shoots-his-two-teenage-daughters-himself-in-sand-springs/article_cecb3a4c-6b1d-11eb-8705-03fe26072545.html#tracking-source=home-top-story">Sand Springs Leader</a> reports.<br>The woman, who works in Tulsa, some 20 minutes away from the family’s home on South Walnut Creek Drive, asked officers to do a welfare check at the home.<br>She told investigators that she and her husband had been having marital problems for months and that her husband had made threats before, though nothing as serious. <br>Investigators visited the home in 2017 due to a &#8216;domestic&#8217; incident, though no arrests were made. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The woman told authorities that David had guns in the home. <br>Having being warned of the presence of firearms in the house, officers approached the house with caution, tapped on windows, called the daughters’ cellphones and knocked on doors but got no response, so “we had the wife come to the scene,” police said. <br>When police contacted the woman she told them that when she was on the phone with her husband, she’d heard what sounded like a gunshot. She told police that he then said, “How do you like that?”<br>When officers arrived at the house, they tapped on windows, knocked on the doors, and called the girls’ cell phones, but got no response.<br>At that point, police asked the woman to come to the home, according to Captain Todd Enzbrenner. When she arrived, she gave officers permission to enter the house, ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.fox23.com/news/local/sand-springs-police-investigate-apparent-double-murder-suicide-tuesday/V2SSWCJKH5FABOHADKUE5ZYQBI/">Fox 23 TV</a> ;reported.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Investigators then entered the home and found the man and the couple’s two young daughters dead. They also found a handgun, according to police.<br>The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting local law enforcement agencies with the probe. ;<br>The murder-suicide took place less than a mile away from a similar incident involving a family slightly more than a week ago.<br>Phillip Daniel Stephen Ross, 31, fatally stabbed his two young children and their mother before killing himself either late on January 29 or in the early morning hours of January 30, according to police.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The domestic murder-suicide was the second such incident in the community in recent times, taking place less than two weeks after a similar case of striple murder-suicide which occurred about a mile away in the same town. ;<br>Phillip Daniel Stephen Ross, 31, fatally stabbed his two young children and their mother sometime between January 29 and 30 in their home in Sand Springs, before killing himself. ;<br>41-year-old Anastacia &#8216;Staci&#8217; Lynn Smith, along with the couple&#8217;s daughters River Gale Ross, 4, and Piper Ann Ross, 2, died of sharp-force injuries. Investigators said they were confident that the father&#8217;s wounds were self-inflicted.<br>Enzbrenner said that investigators had not yet determined the order in which the stabbings occurred.<br>Smith&#8217;s body was found in the back bedroom while Ross and his two kids were in the living room when investigators arrived on the scene in the afternoon hours of January 30.<br>Investigators said they recovered knives with blood on them but no other weapons were found in the home. ;<br>Ross had a history of domestic violence, though none of the complaints made against him appear to have resulted in any convictions. ;</p>
