<p class="wp-block-paragraph">US Marshals arrested ex-NFL player Kevin Ware on Friday and plan to question him on the whereabouts Taylor Pomaski, who disappeared in April. Ware has so far not been named as a person of interest in the case. <br>Texas authorities say they planned to question the ex-NFL player about the disappearance of his Pomaski, his girlfriend after he was arrested for violating a bond-supervision court order on Friday<br>US Marshals took Ware, 40, into custody at a shopping center parking lot after he failed to report for supervision for unrelated drug possession and firearm charges.<br>They are looking to question him about the disappearance of 29-year-old Taylor Pomaski, who was last seen at a house party with Ware on April 26, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2021/06/12/former-nfl-player-and-boyfriend-of-missing-spring-woman-arrested-for-warrant-unrelated-to-disappearance/">KPRC 2</a> reported. Pomaski was reported missing and possibly endangered by her family on May 11. <br>Harris County Sheriff’s authorities said, 5 feet 2 inches tall Taylor Pomaski, who weighs approximately 110 pounds, was last seen on April 26 following a party at her residence on Stallion Brooks Lane in Spring. Authorities said no one has had contact with her since that party. <br>The HCSO Homicide Unit has since taken over the investigation because investigators determined the circumstances surrounding her disappearance seem suspicious and Pomaski may be the victim of foul play.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ware, who played for the Washington Reskins and San Francisco 49ers, has not been named as a person of interest in the disappearance, but police said they suspect foul play.<br>Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch, a volunteer missing person&#8217;s search organization, said he anticipated the worst in Pomaski&#8217;s disappearance.<br>&#8216;This certainly is in no way going to have a happy ending,&#8217; Miller told <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://abc13.com/foul-play-may-be-involved-in-womans-disappearance-a-month-ago/10678717/">ABC13</a>.<br>Ware has a criminal record dating back to 2007, and was most recently arrested on April 19 after police found drugs and guns in his car. He has since been out on bond. <br>Pomaski’s mother, Leslie Mandeville, reported her missing on May 9.<br>Mandeville said that she and her daughter were in close contact until last spring, when she believes Pomaski began struggling with a substance use disorder, although her daughter never said as much. <br>Mandeville said her daughter began dating the ex-NFL player around that time. She tried to make plans to see her daughter and meet Ware on several occasions, she said, but they always canceled.<br>Eric Zulegar, a friend and former boyfriend of Pomaski&#8217;s, said he had been in communication with her in the weeks leading up to her disappearance. The last time he heard from her, he told Inside Edition, was at 6:55 a.m. on April 26, when Pomaski sent him an email that read, simply, “I need to talk to you.”<br>He&#8217;d last seen his friend was on April 4. “She was gaunt and had bruises and some swelling on her face,” he said, adding later that Pomaski had once alleged Ware had hit her. <br>“It was a big difference the physical transformation from February to April,” Zuleger said. <br>“It was shocking.”</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">&#8216;She was in danger, she was in trouble. There was violence, she referenced a gun being pulled on her. She was very scared, very nervous,&#8217; he said according to the network.<br>He said he believed Pomaski&#8217;s relationship with Ware had turned toxic. <br>&#8216;We were talking about her getting out of there, getting back on her feet, getting herself set and stabilized,&#8217; Zuleger told <a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.khou.com/article/news/local/foul-play-suspected-in-disappearance-of-29-year-old-spring-woman-last-seen-at-house-party/285-2d63604c-2803-4d9b-89c9-e3e19cc5aa2d">KOUH11</a>. <br>Pomaski and Ware were at a house party in the Houston suburb of Spring in the home where they reportedly lived together the night of her disappearance. <br>&#8216;There is a big party at his house and then a fight broke out with him and Taylor, and, from what we understand, the fight got fairly violent,&#8217; Miller told ABC13.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Zulegar said he is unsure whether Ware is responsible for Pomaski&#8217;s disappearance, but believes he may have information that could lead authorities to her. Ware had reportedly not been cooperating with investigators. <br>&#8216;There could be others that were around the house that night. I’m not for certain, but Kevin knows exactly what happened,&#8217; he told KPRC2. <br>Kevin Ware is back behind bars after being captured by Deputy U.S. Marshals on Friday. The Gulf Coast Regional Violent Offenders Taskforce arrested the fugitive in the parking lot of a shopping center in Spring, Texas.<br>The former NFL tight end was picked up on a warrant for failing to report for bond supervision in the last two months for previous charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession with the intent to deliver controlled substances in Montgomery County. He was first arrested on April 19 on drug and weapon charges, <a href="https://abc13.com/taylor-pomaski-missing-woman-kevin-ware-jr-ex-nfl-player-wanted-montgomery-county-person/10773662/">ABC 13</a> reports. Further reports by <a href="https://www.insideedition.com/taylor-pomaskis-mother-and-friend-appeal-to-boyfriend-for-answers-as-search-for-missing-texas-woman">Inside Edition</a> reveal that police pulled Ware over for allegedly speeding and searched his vehicle; deputies said they found an AK-47 and a 9mm pistol along with cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and Xanax., but he was released days later, on a $23,000 bond, <br>He and Pomaski got into a violent fight during a get together at his home, according to witnesses who reported the squabble. Ware subsequently missed his bond hearings, and Pomaski has not been seen since. Zuleger told <em>Inside Edition</em> that when confronted Ware about her disappearance from the party, Ware told him Pomaski left the party on April 25 with one of his friends.</p>
