<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A Texas ;financial advisor has been fired after TikTok ;star shamed her in a video for allegedly not wanting to interview black job applicants and is accused of saying it&#8217;s a &#8216;complete waste of my time.&#8217; ; <br>A purported leaked internal communication where Eileen Cure allegedly said, &#8216;I specifically said no blacks&#8217; &#8211; meaning no black applicants &#8211; was ;given to TikTok user Denise Bradly, whose ;&#8216;aunkkaren0&#8217; account has over one million followers. ; <br>&#8216;I&#8217;m not a prejudice person, but our clients are 90 percent white, and I need to cater to them so that interview was a complete waste of my time,&#8217; Cure, president of the Texas-based Cure and Associates, is accused of saying. ; ; <br>Cure was an affiliated advisor for LPL Financial, which is the largest independent broker-dealer in the US. <br>She was fired after the video surfaced. <br>The company said in a statement that it investigated the claims before making the decision to cut the strings. ; ;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">TikToker Denise Bradly, whose &#8216;aunkkaren0&#8217; account has over one million followers, shamed Cure in a video and released alleged leak internal communications from Cure.<br>She shared in a post, the purported leaked internal communication where Eileen Cure allegedly said, &#8216;I specifically said no blacks&#8217; &#8211; meaning no black applicants &#8211; was shared in Bradley&#8217;s TikTok video.<br>The terminated financial advisor on her part, swung back in a statement to ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.investmentnews.com/lpl-adviser-challenges-defamatory-tiktok-allegations-of-racism-209795">Investment News</a>, saying the video was &#8216;false and defamatory&#8217; and that she is exploring her legal options. ;<br>&#8216;The entirety of this situation is based upon a TikTok video published by an unrelated individual without press credentials or affiliations using an unauthenticated photo of an alleged internal office chat without validation or context of any content,&#8217; Cure told Investment News. ;<br>&#8216;This published photo and along with subsequent related false and defamatory materials and statements, which have incited false commentary and threats of violence and bodily harm toward me and my staff and acts which are being investigated as criminal in nature, are being publicized on a social media platform by a third party who is not related or in any way affiliated with me or my office.&#8217; <br>Cure also complained that, “Additional third parties who are utilizing these TikTok posts for further publication appear to be doing so without further investigation or validation.” </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Bradley reportedly was harassed by Cure and Cure&#8217;s husband, and left her home for her safety, according to a ;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/keep-aunt-karen-safe?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&;utm_medium=copy_link_all&;utm_source=customer">GoFundMe ;</a>that was set up by Bradley&#8217;s friend. ; ;<br>Max Schatzow, a partner at Stark &; Stark who specializes in counseling investment advisers, broker-dealers, outlined the impending showdown for Investment Times. ;<br>If the memo turns out to be altered or fake, he said Cure has a case against the person who published the initial statement and &#8216;might also have claims against TikTok and other news publications that rebroadcasted the statement.<br>&#8216; If the memo turns out to be true, the black applicant has a strong discrimination case, Schatzow said. ; ;</p>
